Looking back to five years ago, we've really come a long way not only here on LeoFinance, but in the entire Crypto Industry in general.
Five years ago was a much simpler time in the crypto space. All you could do was create a Coinbase account, buy some Bitcoin, and sit on it.
It's really crazy to think about given the complexity of the crypto industry in today's world.
There are endless opportunities to join and create something within this industry and we're STILL only in the beginning.
While everyone has their regrets, that's the beauty of growing within the industry. This experience has been a great chance to grow and expand knowledge while learning about yourself as an investor.
For me, I started out on Steem so many years ago. This progressed to launching SteemLeo (now LeoFinance) and the progression of the Hive blockchain and how far this entire ecosystem has come.
It's incredible.

We can not deny the fact that things are grown a lot and now today we have so many exchnages and modes to buy crypto. 5 years back buying crypto was not easy and we have limited options for it. Talking about Hive, it has surely come a long way but I believe it has a long way to.

Funny enough, it’s always the hardest to buy crypto in times like these - when everyone else is fearful.
We’re often reminded of the “buy when there’s blood in the streets. Even if it is your own” but it can be hard to follow through and implement that!

I can’t keep regretting i didn’t join crypto 7 years, I have made peace with the fact that it’s not my fault. But I am very glad I have joined Hive and Leofinance eco system, I am taking it way more seriously to compensate myself for missing the early bitcoin era.

It’s truly amazing what can be accomplished here when you put your mind to it.
Buying crypto and holding is a way to accumulate assets that you can one day sell at a higher price, generating a return.
On the other hand, using a platform like LeoFinance can earn you crypto which is like buying in with a 0 cost basis.
It’s amazing what can be accomplished if you understand and implement this type of thinking. It changed my life back in the Steem days

Indeed the crypto has evolved greatly in the last few years. One can only imagine the level of development we will see around in the next five years. Steem also happened to be my entrance then hive and leofinance into further knowledge of DeFi, NFT and all. It's been an awesome experience thus far

Reading this brings memories of the earlier days in this space. So much knowledge acquired and much advancement seen in the cryptverse. Glad to have joined when I did, all thanks to steem then Hive. Might have missed some opportunities but I trust with hive and leofinance, there's more to gain in the years to come

If Hive is primarily a social media platform, then it is the engagement that produces value, it is the engagement where the synthesis occurs, where the refinement can be achieved through public discourse. If the engagement is not robust, then all other elements: Hive Power, Decentralized Infrastructure, Capital, Web 3.0 , etc all become sterile.
I wish Hive will strive to make the engagement stronger and make it a metaphor of synthesis to produce value.
Engagement has been a heavy focus for LeoFinance and lately, that focus has only increased. I believe - like you - that engagement is the true value of the platform.

After a long journey, still crypto faces such devastating situation like LUNA-UST, it really sucks me even now😭
I am following cryoto from 2018 but never so serious before my Knowledge exoands about web3. And I expect Hive will be one of the pioneer in this sphere.

I want to see more projects like Hive. Although the industry has grown a lot many of the projects don't have much utility. My bet is that tokenization of everything is going to weigh heavy on this industry in the decade to come.
