In this clip from the Weekly AMA, we talk in depth about the newest LeoFinance.io feature: Community Pages.
Community Pages started as an idea for a space dedicated to communities like ThorChain. A "designated hub" for specific content related to each community. This could bring about an entirely new way to categorize and organize content creators and curators who are interested in sub-niches on LeoFinance.
It's designed to onboard an entire community all at once. Users could think of it as a super charged "medium". The pages will offer a more engaged platform for blog posts from community moderators. It will also give projects - like Thorchain, Comdex, etc. - the ability to spread the word about their project much more efficiently and reach a broader audience.
The vision is to one day have hundreds or thousands of communities for all sorts of crypto and non-crypto projects where communities can engage with one another.

Sounds really nice. It's a great move towards helping Leofinance stand out as more than just another community on Hive, but a whole system on its own.
It will really increase engagement and attract more users to Leofinance, creating specific niches makes a lot of sense!
However, I'm concerned. It seems the pages feature will not be entirely open, I mean, user's other than the Leo team on the backend may not be able to create pages and all the process in managing a page will be done in-house! (Or is this just part of the beta testing stage?) Correct me if I'm wrong.
This development is a wonderful one and a way forward in improving and increasing individuals contribution and participation in leofinance and with the contribution of existing users and the leo team that goal is set to be achieved

you may also consider gamification of the LEO Finance and CUB ecosystems to help people learn how to become more knowledgeable on how to trade etc. I just published a post regarding this actually!

It does make a lot of sense for companies and blockchain to come on and write about it here on LeoFinance. Extra exposure, earnings for their projects and much more.

The extra exposure is soooo underrated.
I have no problems with investing in viable projects that are secure and work. I’m sure there are many like me here too. So why the heck not?
Also, the communities growth potential. Don’t project owners really care about that?
I can’t believe I’ll be launching a project on web 3 and medium will be my go to community.
I agree, we just need to get the first one, see it do well, and the rest will follow.

Broooo you needed to see the grin on my face when you said Leofinance generates more engagements than the Thorchain medium posts..:..it’s soo trueee! Plus, they most come off as too technical. On here, discussions are less techy and more of user experience which is also valuable on its own.
So Leofinance is well positioned to capture all of these projects, eventually they will realize it.

The best part of these communities is that they create a snowball effect of marketing for us. If one project find success with us, more are going to be inspired and start setting up their own communities. Onboarding few cryptocurrency communities is going to be more important than bringing in individuals into blogging.
The funny thing is some of these users may not even figure out about HIVE despite being HIVE users. That is true next gen developments. With RC Delegation Pools released, making sure all the newly onboarded communities function smoothly will become even easier.

I was confused by this:
I wanted to create a community, but I read this so I thought my idea wasn't appropriate. Although I thought it would go with the theme of Leofinance nicely. Oh well lesson learned.

I agree that this is a unique feature, which could allows influencers and podcasts or clubs to carve out a nuch for themselves where they could post and share content about their community alone.
I have already reached out to one influencer and one Podcast. The idea is to create a centralized repository of their content, provide a venue for engagement with their fans, followers and friends, plus give back something to their community.
