No Dump, Much Pump, Diamond Hand Apes Too Strong!

Today was a big day for CubDeFi and the CUB token. The inflation got slashed 50%, bringing the inflation to 1 CUB/block, instead of the 2 CUB/block from the previous week and the 3 CUB/block from the week before that.

I was expecting more serious dumping from weak hands. But the diamond hand apes weren't having any of that!

There was a lot of dumping that happened ahead of schedule yesterday. Looking forward at the coming cut in inflation meant a cut in APR earnings in the dens and farms on CubDeFi. The easy money was drying up for those looking to exploit a new token and system.

You can look at the CUB chart at GoSwap and see what I mean:

For 24 hours the selling pressure was on. It seemed unstoppable. Just look at that. Down and down it went.

But then it stepped at the $2.50ish floor and a whale bought up a shitload of CUB. Probably some other people too, but that's the big player making CUB rocket like this. I wonder who that was...

Did it go back down like it has in the past? Nope. The apes have been pushing the price of CUB up, up and away (currently at $2.95).

Yes, that's around 2:35pm UTC, which is 10:35am EST.

Do you know what else happened around that time? At 10am EST, the CUB halvening happened, as @khaleelkazi announced on twitter:

Right when the CUB supply and APR got slashed, the flying diamond hand Toruk ape @onealfa swooped in to battle the dumpers.

That set the tone for the next few hours.

A lot (most?) of the Hive/Leo apes charged in and bought up CUB.

I guess that's that, those of us who were waiting for $2.00 CUB missed out on the $2.50 spot. Ya snooze, ya lose. But the battle of the diamond handed apes vs. weak handed dumpers isn't over yet.

Dumpers have likely been going at this bit by bit, nibbling down CUB little by little. That's the smart play, waiting for a some big ape action to send the price soaring. That way, you can keep dumping, but getting more returns by selling at a higher price. Those cunning dumpers :D

Dumping it all at once would be good for those of us who want to get some cheap CUB, but c'mon, as if they were going to do that!

It seems like the apes sustained the upward momentum for as long as they could, but their pockets might be getting thin. The past 2-4 hours has seen the growing pressure emerge from the weak handed dumpers who are pushing CUB back down.

As much as I want CUB too moon, I think it's too soon. We might cheer on the success of the apes and baboons, but I want cheaper piece of that pie for me and for you.

The bridge went up today, but I think there is some fine tuning going on. It's going to be a big part of what pushes CUB to the stars. Plus, the BSC audit is going to be done within 48 hours apparently.

You know what that means? That's right, CUB gonna rocket to the moon pretty hard soon. If it doesn't, we just have to wait for the weak handed dumpers to dump what they got and then it's gonna be a crazy ride! At least, that's what I see coming :D
