Are you wondering how much pressure the 20% APR for HBD puts on HIVE's inflation?

In percent terms its just an additional 0.3% on top of HIVE's regular inflation.

0.3%, lol.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

The 15% of the total reward pool is paid as interest to the vested token holders, producing an APR 2.98% only. But only 0.3% of additional inflation causes an APR of 20% for HBD. The difference is because of the supply. HBD is hardly 10 to 20% of the total HP, I guess. I do not have the absolute and exact figure though. But these stats are quite interesting.

I thought it would be more. Interesting

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Oh wow, that's interesting! And what an irony that the bank is backed by WB :)

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yeah, every day something new and interesting is happening in the crypto space.

Yes, good there is this DCMLB where we can read some of them, thanks to you and others who keep sharing hehe.

This is how things start to spread. The first exposure is key. Then people start to research.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I !LUV that when people start to search. That's something really difficult to control and regulate.

I don't have time to breathe let alone talk right now with window cleaning season in full bloom but....Hive at 70 cents?!?! Wow! And this is the first time I'm seeing HBD test the peg on the upside since the interest rate hike.

Hivehbdprice 20220628 215047.gif

I can't really do anything about any of this right now, but fun to watch it move in the right direction again. I was able to add a small chunk to my HIVE holdings around 40 cents. Still trying to get to 50k. Getting closer but harder to do as the price moves up.

Still, a win/win in my book. If it goes up, I'm happy. If it goes back down, I'm happy.

Keep the faith, boys and girls. Our day is coming....

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Nice! Both HIVE and HBD are doing awesomely :) Keeping the faith and breathing well too hehe. Cheers!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yeah I'm happy either way as well haha
ALways happy about Hive

HIVE is trading at $0.64. Everything is going well on Hive side. Could it be going for $1?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I don't think so as a lot are shorting it now. Binance is out of Hive to lend those shorting since I checked it yesterday. :)

I am impressed with the bulls as they can keep pushing the price up despite the amount of shorts.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It's currently $0.66 :)

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Fantastic!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It's currently $0.71 hahaha!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Wow! It seems they are on the move to making it to the dollar.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Now HIVE is attracting everyone's attention.

Posted using LeoFinance Mobile

Binance is out of Hive to lend those shorting since I checked it yesterday.

They just need to buy more HIVE off the market ;)

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Agree. :)

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Let's watch and see

Posted using LeoFinance Mobile

Enjoy watching

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Is possible I think this is the best time to bag more hive.

It has now reached $0.71, getting interesting to watch.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That thought is good, we shall see how it goes.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Like a bull!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Depends upon how far the Koreans pump it.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Why do Koreans pump it?

Posted using LeoFinance Mobile

Because they are best at it:) Not the first time. Historically they have a long list of pumping a few coins. This time they are doing it with HIVE.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That sounds great. They must be having fun hehe

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Hahaha! we are having fun too :)

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

There are many who say that Koreans pump when the Hive draws a long green candle. Is there any particular reason. This is normal if the goal is to make money.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Because they can play the market and make money. They do it every now and then

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I get it, but a lot of whales do this.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That's true. Yet another perk of having big buckets of money hehe

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

TM explained briefly below.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

They have a closed exchange so nobody from the outside can arbitrage it.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I understand now. Thank you.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I hope it does. $1 Hive during this bear would be a big push for Hive .

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

In this bull/bear cycle HIVE has always been trading 3 times that of STEEM. So if this correlation holds good, HIVE should be 3x0.23= 0.69 is the par figure for HIVE. I think that's playing out nicely so far.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Steem technology is far behind, such a difference is normal, it may even be x5 in the future.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Such a rise is quite remarkable in these days when we are in a bear market. I hope we see the $1.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Not likely we hit it unless something fundamental changes with Hive such as a lot of users coming from a hit application.

Perhaps RC delegation might change something.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Just reading about the Rc delegation project. It's something most of us never saw coming. Can't wait to see how it affects Hive positively.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yeah, how fascinating it is!!! When BTC is struggling to make a way, HIVE has its own way to rally like a bull market.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yes, it is quite fascinating. This shows the power of HIVE.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I think the dump will happen before that

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Thanks got to get it now

The US is being flooded with products.

While there are still some things in short demands, we are seeing products so plentiful there isnt even enough space to store them. Full containers are all over the place.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Will these products be the ones to compensate for shortfalls in the ones expected to experience shortages in the next few months? How much fertilizer, wheat, baby formula, etc. are among those being placed on rail?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

$HIVE at 67 cents. The Koreans are pumping.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Luxury watchmaker Breitling now accepts bitcoin payments.

Source

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That is fantastic! More coming aboard

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

What makes it more interesting is that such development is happening amidst a downtrend market.

Yes. They are taking advantage of it I guess. The more customers who pay in BTC during this cycle, the better for them. Will there be people willing to spend their BTC? Maybe. Some are even selling so it is possible some also spend for luxury hehe

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

If DOGE is better suited for purchases of movie tickets and concession stand foods and beverages, then why shouldn't BTC use used for larger purchases such as motor vehicles and luxury watches?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Why not indeed, right? And that's why these luxury brands are opening doors for those who want to spend their sats.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Market mixed at the open.

It seems there is not a lot of tailwind for equities right now.
