Coinbase is a disappointment.
They have made a tremendous amount of money, and accumulated a lot of clout. They could use the infrastructure and marketing apparatus for good at this point, because you only need one mansion, and it’s practically impossible to spend a billion dollars in one lifetime on your daily needs, even if your extravagant. But some become obsessed with amassing wealth by any means possible, and they attract workers who are the same. They will die a slow death evoking irrelevant if they keep buying and destroying innovative platforms, while creating none of their own. They can coast on their laurels, but they will be consigned to the trash in of forgotten historical figures unless they change their ways.
