Proposal to incentivize the twitter activity of members of the hive community
Twitter is a powerful tool to spread the word of $hive to a huge audience.
A quick research tells us that there is big activity in crypto related content on the platform. (number of tweets with #crypto #cryptocurrencies #DEFI etc.)
There is also several other projects fighting for the same thing and maybe there is a way we can help each other. @acidyo and @lordbutterfly have both marketing goals that match the goals of this proposal.
Many members of hive already use twitter to promote their posts to a wider audience.
Nathan Mars @nathanmars is one of the big ambassadors of our community on twitter. He actively searches out users tagging $hive #hive in their tweets. He likes and retweets the content of other hive members.
The more a tweet gets retweeted the more people see it. I have an audience of 136 on twitter. If my tweet gets retweeted by Nathan Mars my analytics go up with only a 136 followers I have a viewing of over 600! Imagine this tweets getting retweeted by multiple accounts and you can see the snowball rolling!
He also gives incentive to help him spread the word.
We would like to propose a fund of 100HBD daily to further incentivize our members to be active on twitter. Verified hive twitter members would share a pool of HBD that is paid out due to activity and visibility of the posts. Twitter analytics could be one of the tools to determine the reward for the active twitter users.
By the time of writing I did not know about the posh project of @acidyo but I think there would be a possible way to work together.
By incentivizing the activity on twitter we hope to gain more momentum for the hive related tweets. Contents of the tweets should be related to hive and contain the tags #hive $hive. and the tag #hive5000 (a list of members active in the twitter hive community)
I am not a developer but there could be a script searching for relevant data on how active each member has been on twitter.
Based on past 24 h activity each day a certain amount could be issued to these users. To mitigate risk of low quality reward farming there could be a cap to each member. The cap would go down by time as more members get voted in the hive5000 or the daily fund can be raised with each new member.
If the reward pool is not paid out in full it would accumulate to the next day raising the incentive slightly but keeping in mind the growth of the user base as well.
There could be an extra incentive for onboarding links and efforts. Each month a snapshot of referral numbers is taken. Crosschecked with tweets containing a hive onboard link we could determine who brought in the most users over twitter.
Unused HBD could be also used to create an investment fund buying tokens of the HIVE ecosystem and generate extra income for the incentive pool.
We do not want to profit from this project we want hive to profit! By incentivizing twitter activity we can bring in new users new investors and also new ambassadors spreading the word of hive.
Just imagine a club with members who make a small extra income and making HIVE viral on twitter. Technically if each user retweets and tweets about hive we can make each hive related tweet viral!
Vote for this proposal join the #hive5000 and make everyone know about hive!
