Terrific work @dalz. Thanks for delving into this and explaining it for all to understand.

When accounted for the conversions the inflation rate was closing to 15% per year, not the 8% to 9% as designed.

This is not a problem since growth can offset it. @splinterlands really did a great job bringing in new users although they are not, for the most part, getting involved in the other aspects of the ecosystem.

Over time, the need for RCs will also alter these numbers. But it is great to see how we have the ability to keep adjusting things up or day by having two tokens tied to the chain.

Yes, that has already been confirmed, growth can eat inflation for dinner :)

In order to get resource credit, Hive power is needed
so in the long run a lot of Hive will have to move out of the system to help in that case.
The price will go up consistently.
