Hi Everyone,
2021 had an awesome start for the crypto world with many of us excited what is coming up for the rest of the year. I’m not great with planning my finances, in fact a few of you know from private conversations that I am not good with numbers. I can’t multitask and look at a few tokens at once so I can only watch out for a few things at a time. So in 2021, I am hoping to change myself up a bit and see if I can put some priorities in looking to maximise what I have in hand.

Buying A Property:
This year I am going to probably focus on property and crypto. We have been searching for a place for some time and with COVID19 and the uncertainty of the economy, we still haven’t stopped. The overall market in Sydney have slowed down a bit and can see the housing prices come down to a more reasonable level although it is still quite high in some areas. Some owners still have the mindset that their place is still worth when it was at peak times but unfortunately it isn’t the case anymore. We were very close to getting a property twice end of last year but pulled out due to not able to agree on a price and one property report came back not very good so we gave it up. We will continue to search in 2021 and hopefully be able to settle into the new place. This would probably be the biggest purchase in 2021 if all works well.
Focusing More Around Crypto
The other thing I would be focusing will be crypto. BTC and some alts have been going quite well end of 2020 and in 2021 still looking strong. I will be looking into slowly building up my BTC holding as I believe long term BTC will be the clear winner of all crypto. As BTC is going towards 40k, it will take longs of work to build my BTC profile to a reasonable amount.
Finding Passive Income
I am also looking for ways to maximise my stake but not spending too much time on it as work has been very demanding as well as the family side of things. I don’t have as much time as I used and I need to find ways to make passive income. Other than blogging, my strength on the HIVE blockchain is playing games where Splinterlands have worked very well for me with overall card value have been going up over the two years. Games like Dcity and Rising Stars are great examples you do very minimal but can get a great return in particular Dcity. I hope I can find more projects similar to these so I can let it run behind the scenes with minimal attention and bring in passive income.
I have also bought in some LEO today seeing how well it has been doing the last month or so. I believe ETH will continue to rise and with LEO’s price tied to ETH, there is a high chance that LEO will make some good gains over this period. The other thing I noticed is there will be an airdrop from the LEO team so hope that will increase the price up a bit.
Lastly my prediction for Hive in 2021 will be 20-25c and LEO will be at least $5-6 (fingers and toes crossed). I hope 2021 will bring some good fortunes for everyone as we have experienced the bear market for too long, it is time for crypto to shine!

Best of luck with your financial goals. Buy a house can be so exciting and so stressful all at the same time! My wife and I spent close to 8 months looking for the place that we finally ended up buying. I'd like to say I am never going through that process again, but I know that isn't the case. It sounds like the market there is pretty decent. Houses are hard to come by over here right now. It is a sellers market and people are going nuts reaping the rewards. Once again, good luck!

I'm glad you found your place in 8 months. A few years ago when we tried to look for a place, took nearly 12 months and still had no luck so we rented instead in the area we like. Good houses are hard to come by now days so fingers crossed we can find something soon!

yup, for a time being (6 months) I played 2 rental accounts too, All income from that accounts is pushed to build my accounts.
Actually my card assets is around 1K, At one time I was holding 800K DEC too, that I sold for 4500 Hive approximately. (Unfortunately DEC jumped more after my sale.)

I really hope to see leo and hive reaching 5$ that can help each and every one of us in so many ways! I predicted around 1$ though :P hope i am wrong and it's more than this
