RE: New Cub in the Block, Where to Start?

in LeoFinance2 years ago

Most of the LEO that I accumulate daily come from the upvotes on my comments. I seldom curate because my Voting Power is busted (way below 70%) and I'm still struggling to refill it to stay above 80%.

Often the same happens to me too. I upvoted many posts and many comments in the previous few days. Recently I slowed down a little bit with casting upvotes to let my voting power recharge. My current voting power is 79.34% ($0.06).

It's challenging to not upvote but it's also good to take a break and let it recharge. But then sometimes, it cannot be avoided haha

Stay above 80%. That is my goal.

That's what I've heard too, to stay above 80%.

80% is alwayythe safe threshold.

Are you following many upvote trails?

I mostly manually upvote. I also set up automatic upvoting, but that is only when my voting power is above 90%, so the automatic upvotes cannot "deplete" my voting power. Currently I follow three curation trails: @cryptoctopus, @curie, @kgakakillerg.

That is good. It's been a long while since I had above 80% VP. I stopped upvoting for a day but then I went back again so now I'm below 70%. I stopped following curation trail.

I actually have to unfollow upvote trails months ago when I noticed my VP can't cope up with it.

My suggestion is to keep it above 80%. I know it is tempting to keep voting but it gets to the point where you are draining the value away.

Thank you. I will have to refrain myself from pushing the upvote button.
