RE: WEEKEND EXPERIENCES community: POSTING GUIDE

Hello blessed day. I have seen several friends post in this community and whenever I read them they are stories that remind me of some of my weekends or mostly how I wish I had them.

So I happened to read the rules and suggestions of its creator and I found them clear, concise and easy to put into practice.

Besides that, it motivates me to do different things that we can share here.

To clarify, if they are stories of weekends that happened in the past or what we would like to live in the future, can we use images of free use without problems?

Anything else you can advise me to have visibility in the community?

Thank you very much for your attention.

Any weekend content is permitted. I prefer to see people use their own images but understand that's not always possible so if you use stock images please ensure they are correctly sourced with a link and are from a free image site, not someone's website. Also, if you are using stock images I suggest only one. Spreading multiple stock images throughout your post doesn't appeal very well.

Other than that, just follow the posting guidelines and ask if you have any more questions.

Thanks for your response.

I usually like to use my own photos, sometimes there are so many that I make a collage so as not to leave any out.

I find it interesting to only use one image if it is free to use. I didn't know that.

Will it be like that for all Hive?

Another thing, when I start to write I write long and long and then I have to erase so that it is not so long. That is counterproductive, that is to say, it is frowned upon.

And if the texts are at least 1000 words long and the sources are not my own, it is ok to put 1 or 2 free use images.

I would like to be clear, my goal is to learn to do things right.

Oh and I speak Spanish, I am translating with DeeLp translator.

The one (stock) image thing is my idea only, you can do as you please. I just don't like to see multiple stock images used. One is enough to make the point.

If it is your own images then as many as you like, within reason. Too many isn't good there either. Collages are a good way to add multiple images though.

You can write any length but I suggest 500-1000 words is ample, although I sometimes write more. I'm a fast thinker and writer though, so not too hard for me. If you wrote 1000 words maybe 2 stock images may work, I just don't like blogs full of them and generally ignore those posts, as Info with dual-language posts, hence my English only rule.

Feel free to ask if you have more questions.

Oh, having a profile picture will make your account more believable and appealing.

I'm sorry, I don't speak Spanish.

I love your transparency! Nothing to hide.

I'm always quite direct, it's just how I am. It's best to let people know where they stand I guess.
