Exploring the leader in our brave girl.
The leadership camp is an annual event organized in my kid's school and it was cancelled in last two year for Covid and came back only this year, so she was desperately waiting for this. Last time she went for just a day, but this time, the trip was 2 day 1 night journey. So for the first time, she was out of home without us, but she was pretty excited to go. Dropped her at school, early in the Sunday morning, they departed at 7.30 am.
The school has a residential school located over 65 acres of land and is 30 kms away, where they arrange this leadership camp every year. They take these kids in the school bus. They arrange the camp separately for boys and girls. For girls, all the lady teachers including their class teachers were with them - so we were assured that they are in safe hands.
Can you spot her in the group ? She seems to be very happy, 4th from left in the second row.
Ready for the walk - takes away the fear of height, they were supposed to walk on the wall, coming from fifth floor.
Then the kayaking, learning how to sail wearing a life jacket :
Making potteries - keeping some old traditions alive. Look at those kids face - happy with those muddy hands.
Day 2 - started with morning exercise at 6 o'clock.
Then they cooked maggi - not easy to cook on firewood, but that smoky flavor was unique.
She knew what tastes best :)
Then the most exciting activity - sling shot.
Look at her expressions - exciting and enjoying.
They have pretty nice arrangements to keep these kids engaged for two days. And here comes the free fall - they just push the kids from 4th floor - of course carefully with all the safety precautions.
Learn to be careful.
The open area for addressing for the next event.
The tractor ride.
The zip line or flying fox - needs lot of courage but this is how kids learn it. This time, it was very long , unlike last time.
Can you feel the distance ?
Balancing and Commando course - the slim kids would easily make it.
Coloring the potteries.
And who does not love a DJ night and Bonfire - she was saying they danced for two hours.
One of the most important factor of these camp is serving good food so that the kids are energetic. The school does a nice job of serving vegan as well as non-vegan dishes of their choice - and of course non-spicy.
All good things must come to end, so the final valedictory ceremony awarding each kids with certificates of participation.
Back to home - happy but tired.
The event is optional charging extra but our brave girl wants to explore this every year. And I am sure, what they experience in these two days can't be taught nowhere else. It was difficult to find out her photos from the entire collection having several thousands of photos of all kids but then I can recognize her anywhere. This will be a memorable post for her.

It's almost simillar to what Corporates offer to their Graduate Trainee.
It's really good to imbibe and explore the skill and leadership qualities at such tender age. This is the time where we can impart variable role and compatibility in the context extra curricular activities. It's also good for overall mental and physical wellbeing.
I wish all the best for your daughter.
Thank you so much, yes, this is the best time to take the fear away and make them ready. They will face a lot of challenge compared to us.
Wow, this looks like so much fun but super useful at the same time! Almost like a survival course, very cool. I´m sure your daughter did great there as she already has the personality of a leader ;)
Yes, she enjoyed it very much.
Friend, it was really nice to see that your daughter participated in a very good activity. And it's great that you always encourage her to do such things. Really her is very Brave Keep it up dear champ.
A bit scary for me to complete all, particularly when I fear heights, but I think this type of activity and training helps overcome fear. Your daughter is cute and has a calming persona.
This looks so much fun, i wish i had such events in my school time, it could have enjoyed a lot. It is easy to learn a lot of things in such camps. Your daughter must had so much fun there.
Ya, literally the amount of exposure they have today is huge.
good activity for your daughter to learn about leadership and apart from enjoying
if your daughter is brave for this kind of activities she will be brave enough to be an excellent leader
Yes, she is very brave, its always recognizable from early childhood.
😊😉😮😎🤙 wow, that was so cool!
quite a sizable group. I liked the repelling and the zip line..
and the obstacle course was good.
Ya, there were so many engaging activities which is exciting and fun at the same time.
It looks like Girls Scout. That's how we call it in our country.
What an amazing experience for children. Makes me want to pretend to be a kid again
We literally had nothing :)

Hello dear friend @sanjeevm good afternoon
What beautiful images of this pleasant experience that your girl has lived, she is very brave
How good it is to see how they prepare children to lose their fear of heights and keep traditions alive
Thank you very much for teaching us this beautiful experience
She is very brave in fact - she wants to explore all the adventures.
It must be an incredible experience to be in a camp and learn certain things that we will surely need to grow in life
True, most importantly it gives them opportunities that we individually can never provide.
She really enjoyed herself which am pretty sure she is excited about and the event is something she won't forget for a very long time.
Ya now only she is saying, next year I am going :)
This is good arrangement.. Nice photos dear @sanjeevm
