FUTURE CONCERNS: To Keep Life GOING!

Hello, Weekenders!
@galenkp's Week143 interesting prompts caught my eye when I'm currently fighting in a battle to keep my "Life Going".

Being able to have many things to achieve in life, and many things you might able to do will oftentimes lead us to the question of: What's BEST for next?
Then comes CONFUSION and SELF-MADE PRESSURE next.

As I have ended a freelancing contract of mine last month, I decided to take a break, to ponder on, and to take on the process of self-actualization for my career journey. Currently, I am still torn between the different options I can do- work or business, nevertheless, my weekend option was so clear for me to drive away from the hazy-dizzy thoughts in my mind!

TAKE A DRIVE

I just got my driver's license! Well, it's something that keeps me smiling from my self-made pressure lately, and so timely when my former colleagues/friends invited me for a road trip over the weekend. The invitation keeps me up for the future days as for sure, I can take a drive! How can't a newbie driver gets excited about that, right?

Here comes Sunday!
My friend, Nicey, rented a car for the planned road trip, she took the steering wheel in the city, while I took the drive in the countryside. I took the wheels from Danao City to Tabuelan, Cebu about 65km in distance, and the trip was incredibly beautiful. I even didn't notice that we have reached the destination as aside from enjoying the countryside view of the northern part of Cebu, Philippines, I can take control of the ride, slow, mid-pace, or fast, I can either overtake some vehicles in the road or just follow the preceding vehicles though.

Something that made me realize that I should take the "journey" that keeps my "drive" because no matter what my speed is during the trip, it'll fulfill my soul that I can't even notice that I have reached my destination. Also, I can "overtake" to speed up the journey, if there's no risk on the other side, else just follow what's ahead to keep the journey "safe and sound", the same as our life decisions and choices.

And my future concern is to take a drive until I'll reach my destination.

THE DESTINATION

Durhan Beach Resort is one of the best beach destinations in the north, with a white sand beach, cozy greenery, and inviting benches calling you up for relaxation. Exactly what I envision my weekend to be, excuse the gloomy weather as we arrived at the resort however the morning on the next day was absolutely pretty that makes a perfect drone flight on the shore.

Walking along the seashore keeps me thinking that there is always something about the sea that keeps us going, it reminds us to achieve flow: "the state of working or doing something that you can't even notice the time that lapses". The sand that looks out for the seawater through high or low, is something that reminds us that no matter how strong our current is or how low and high we may feel, we always need people to accompany us through the journey of life, people who may look for us or we may look up to.

As for my future concern,
I am ready to take the journey to my next destination- to pursue my passion for business and social media management, while I can still practice my accounting profession in some other way besides the others.
