But approaching the end, it all came together. It is difficult losing one's parent at a young age, and having to adjust to a new one is almost as difficult too.
A hole in the heart created by such loss is not easy to fill, and it is relatable how one would most likely lash out in reaction, like the bicycle event.
The story is a sad one, I just hope it isn't a true story. If it is, there's always hope, even though life can be cruel at times.

This is a touching story. A child has lost his father and must adjust to a stepfather. The adjustment is slow but in the end the child learns the stepfather's worth.
I had a little trouble sorting out the some of the details. I believe the boy grew up to run a salon and the stepfather is lecturing abroad. The son is flying off to see his father, with a full heart. Am I right?
