Greetings!

Since the Band of the Wolf set went live it has been rough sailing for my Nature deck, my deck struggles to compete against decks utilizing the cards from Band of the Wolf. So, I decided again for the nth time to revamp my Nature deck. I was forced to buy two legendary cards and reduce my spells. After seeing how my deck competes against decks utilizing cards from the Band of the Wolf set, I accepted that I would never be going to Auric Gold, let alone Solar Gold. I also said to myself that "staying at Midnight Shadow would be enough for me". But after a few weeks and the game settles down I was surprised that I was finally able to reach Auric Gold and Solar Gold (today) on a 4-2 record.

All four of my victories were against Aggro War decks and against one Olympian Aggro War deck (which my deck historically struggles to beat).

Victory # 1 - versus Aggro War

After seeing that I am battling a war deck, I said, "Ok, this will be a fast defeat". So, I just played nothing to lose and to my surprise, I won. In this match, I mulligan for the lowest mana cards possible and I end up having two Black Jaguars, one Amazon Conscript, and one Vanguard Axewoman. As always, I am against a war deck so I got aggressive so that I will avoid being overwhelmed in the coming round. On my first turn, I played Axewoman and Amazon Conscript. As expected my opponent immediately played a blitz card. On my next turn, I played Black Jaguar while I drew Bladefly. On my third turn, I got two Black Jaguars on my board while my opponent has none. On the fourth turn, I was able to play Bladefly to which all three Bladeflies stayed on the board and my opponent responded using Orcish Elite. On my next turn, I was able to buff the remaining Bladefly and Black Jaguar. My opponent responded with White Fur Guard and luckily I was able to kill it while I got to retain Celestial Stag and Finian Fruit Bearer at the end of my turn. At six mana I played my second Celestial Stag and at the end of my turn Finian Fruit Bearer was able to summon a Vibrant Fruit. On my next turn I played my second Axewoman at the end of the turn there were no cards on the board. On the net turn, my opponent played a frontline card and Trial SPirit. It is a good thing that I got Albino Hydra on my hand which helped me get rid of two out of three cards of my opponent. At seven mana I got three cards on the board while my opponent has one. It proves to be the turning point of the game giving me my first victory at Auric Gold.

Victory # 2 - versus Aggro War

This match is also against aggro war, my thinking on this match is, "I am really going to lose this match for sure". So, I just played, and again to my surprise, I won. My starting hand in this match is consisting of Penumbra Howler, Canopy Barrage, Vanguard Axewoman, and Black Jaguar. On my first turn, I played Black Jaguar, and in my next turn, I played Axewoman and Amazon Conscript. My opponent responded with Enduring Shield. Luckily I got some cards on the board to get rid of the protected buff from Enduring Shield. On my fourth turn, I played Celestial Stag and I got Cardshark on the sanctum which I played immediately. At four mana I was able to build a wall of five creatures on my board. The next turn I played Penumbra Howler. At five mana my opponent has only one creature on the board while I got two. On my next turn, I played Celestial Stag and at the end of my turn, I was able to clear my opponent's board while I got four creatures on the board. It proves to be the last string of my opponent and he decided to concede.

Victory # 3 - versus Olympian Aggro War

After my first two wins against an aggro war deck here comes the match against an Olympian war deck to which my deck struggles historically. In this match, I already accepted that I am surely going to lose but I got the win anyway. My starting hand in this match is consisting of NIghtleaf Hunter, Finian, Canopy Barrage, and Bladefly. On my first turn, I played Nightleaf Hunter. My opponent did not play any card on his second turn. I took advantage of it by playing Bladefly, at the end of my turn I got five creatures on the board while my opponent has none. My opponent played Enduring Shield and Retribution in response. On my net turn, I was able to buff all my remaining wild creatures on the board using Wildfire and at the end of my turn, my opponent's HP has gone down to 13. At six mana I played Axewoman and Bladefly to which I was able to clear the board of my opponent while I got to retain four of my creatures on the board. At five mana, I was able to clear the board of my opponent while I got three creatures on my board. My opponent responded with two Olympian creatures luckily my opponent just chose to concede.

Victory # 4 - versus Aggro War

After the three victories again the aggro war decks I am now confident in this match that I am going to win this time (which I did) and made me promoted to SOLAR GOLD once again (I think this is only the 3rd or 4th time that I was able to reach SOLAR GOLD since I started playing). The recording of this match starts at three mana, in this turn's end, I got two creatures on the board while my opponent has none. My opponent played Blade of Styx and decided to kill my confused 1/2 creature instead of the 3/1 Nightleaft Hunter. At five mana I was momentarily at a disadvantage but luckily I was able to clear the board of my opponent ad the end of the turn I only got a 1/2 Confused Badger on the board while my opponent has none. In response, my opponent played Helian Blademaster. On my next run. I was not able to kill Helian but I was able to reduce its health. Luckily on my next turn, I was able to draw Poisoned Dart which I used to kill Helian Blademaster once and for all, and at the end of the turn, I got three Confused Badgers on the board while my opponent has no creatures on the board. On my next turn, I was able to nearly clear the board of my opponent while I was able to retain two Confused Badgers. At seven mana I was able to clear the board of my opponent while I got two creatures remaining on the board. Still, at seven mana I was able to clear the board of my opponent while I got four creatures on the board it proves to be the turning point of the game giving me my fourth victory in six games.

Hello, I like the duo "Celestial Stag" and "Penumbra Howler", they give you good cards.👍👍👍

Indeed, once in a while, they can win a game on themselves too by giving out great cards.

Great job battling the War Decks. Getting those Bladeflys out and buffing with WildFire seems unstoppable if the Olympian War Deck has nothing on the board.. I didn't play nature for a few weeks but am tempted now with so many cool cards to play.

Thank you. Yep, Bladeflies are very dangerous if left alone (especially when buffed).
