Following up on my pilot's guide for this deck, I've kept playing. I really wanted to get a recording of the combo going off. Not only did that happen, but we also got to see our Paladin in action taking out an ordered creature.
As you can see, we were out of cards and top decking near 6 mana. Deception got a lot of value from us which taxed our aggro deck heavily. Getting some card draw from the sanctum is always a good call, and we were able to get our second win condition setup. True, a single hunting trap would have killed
the bruiser. We probably would have struggled, but at a minimum we had Slayer to hit for 2 each turn.
We were able to win despite:
- Going second
- Deception getting a ton of value from pickpockets
- Stealing our enduring shield

Nice combo! Sole Survivor + Hidden is so nice. Encumbered Looter is great with it too, but a 10 dmg Sole Survivor is NASTY. 😍
Definitely! You had me thinking encumbered looter watching your stream a day or so ago. Seems like a good fit - card draw is critical. I've been waiting to get them from packs, but that's been pretty slow (only earning one rare pack per week lol). I may just use a week's worth of GODS and pick up 2x.
