Even if it always felt a little more complicated, I was always happy trying Asian portraits very much. I said it is complicated because their faces were always so smooth so that we can't find enough contour or textures to highlight. Still I wanted to try these cute faces.

I made the basic sketch with a black ball point pen on the canvas which qas of size A4. I made it by direct sketch without any grids or transparent paper.
Started painting the scene from the lighter region as I was using watercolours to fill the entire area. Then I covered almost the areas and started using some strong contrasty colours to have good shadows behind some edges.
Finally I used some black, brown and darker blue to paint the clothing and the hair region.

El retrato, en acuarela es complicado y has logrado un gran resultado; no obstante creo, que no le vendría mal un poco de variedad cromática, ya que las carnaciones no siempre son tan monótonas como nos las muestra esta fotografía.
