As I promised in my last pointillism post, my dragonfly drawing is done.It took me 19 hours to finish this beauty.

I love how it came out. I started with a sketch which took quite a while because of the details in the wings.
Slowly I added detail to the wings. Dot by dot.

I managed to add this design in my teespring store, trying to offer printed t-shirts with this design.I think that my pointillism art can look pretty cool on a shirt.

My next insect for my pointillism series is going to be a grasshopper. For the moment it has to wait because, clumsy me, I managed to ruin my isograph 😔 Yesterday I accidentaly touched my metal chair handle with it and the tiny fragile 0.25 mm tip broke in 2 in front of my eyes. But... There is some positive thing coming out of this.... Stay tuned, I will soon tell you😊

What I like the most about this drawing is the level of detail in the texture.
Pointillism is a fascinating technique that makes us use the best of us as artists. Requires a lot of patience and can give a whole new meaning to creativity, looking for new ways of presenting what seems simple on the “big picture”.
