Hi hive friends… today I present this small project that I have started to make memories of the comics that were part of our childhood, especially “The Super Friends”. A series very seen in the 80s and that I am sure that each one of the characters that I will be sharing with all of you, will take us to go back in time when we were children.

Every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, I hope you will find in this space that Super Friend from your childhood, that is why, today I welcome Wonder Woman as the start of this project.

Manos a la obra/ Let's do

Materiales:

• Anime/icopor (Poliestireno expandido)
• Pinturas a base de agua.
• Pinceles
• Lápiz de grafito
• Hojas de papel recicladas
• Tijera
• Pegamento blanco
• Regla
• Hilo grueso- conocido como hilo pabilo.
• Paleta de pintura
• Máquina de corte para Anime/icopor (Poliestireno expandido)

Materials:

• Anime / Styrofoam (Expanded Polystyrene)
• Water based paints.
• Brushes
• Graphite pencil
• Recycled sheets of paper
• Scissors
• White glue
• Rule
• Thick yarn - known as wick yarn.
• Paint palette
• Cutting machine for Anime / Styrofoam (Expanded polystyrene)

Procedimiento/Process

1. A horizontal cut of the anime / styrofoam to ½ centimeter. If you do not have the cutting machine you can use manual cutting blades.

2. Glue 4 recycled sheets of paper and draw the silhouette of the Wonder Woman. On another sheet of paper, draw the overlapping parts of the doll and the logo.Reinforce the pieces if necessary by gluing more sheets of recycled paper. Then cut out each of the pieces.

3. Use pins to snap the pieces onto the anime / styrofoam slice and cut vertically. We already have the pieces cut out.

4. Start painting with the basic colors of the doll: Paint the skin with flesh color. Then draw the face with graphite pencil and shade using the brown, flesh and white paints. Then paint the details of the face and outline in black.

5. Carry out the above process with the other pieces. REMEMBER: paint the base colors, shade and outline.

6. Paint the thick yarn or wick yarn with yellow paint. Simulate the Wonder Woman's rope by turning it several times and seal.

7. Glue the pieces (the suit, the boots and the bracelets) over the wrist. Glue the right arm piece behind the wrist's waist.Everything is ready. Cut an anime base, you can paint it in the color of your preference, in this case I used black for the base and an identification with my name.
