Here is an exercise you can do with any paint program app you have on your IPhone, iPad, etc etc etc...
I am experimenting with different brushes, sizes, opacity and pressure from my index finger to create this sunset on the Big Lake. In other words .... I could not find my Apple Pencil today so I thought I would learn how to paint on the iPad the way Steve Jobs intended..... No stylus.
These are the steps in my Digital Creation.
Step 1: Start with the Horizon
Step 2: Add clouds and some of the colour of the sunset
Step 3: Add more reds and oranges
Step 4: Add Batchawana Island to the Horizon and the kids out in the canoe.
Anyway... I hope people can stay creative no matter what the tools.
Create create create. It is the best way to cope with all the destruction and chaos swirling all around us. When people destroy, others must create. Stay Positive. This is the balance in the Universe. Ommmmmm.... Peace and blessings and Love from Canada and the Gitchee Manitou.
Update: This is the brush I used....
Beautiful work my friend, it's a very relaxing setting would make a nice art piece in my living room.
You can print it on 8’ x 10’ canvas at Costco... I give you permission @hiveyoda. .... thank you so much for all your support over the years. I can send you a high resolution copy with my signature.... but wait for more .... this is a first sketch with these new brushes I have discovered.
WOW! Thank you @offgridlife. I will absolutely do this, but I may just wait until your "ultimate" star wars artwork. Once you feel it's ready I will print this on the largest "Multi Panel Canvas", this is my favorite. I am excited when this masterpiece is available. If it might have use of Purple and black this would my favorite colors. Naturally I will take photos and show everyone.
I will do more with purple and black @hiveyoda
Umm, what king of brushes are they?
I will check.
This one....
Okay. I see that.
Likewise me! I would lovr to have that hanging in my bed room.
This is really inspirational. I tried several times to make one of this but to be honest Ive always end up frustrated. The learning curve is really hard but at the end of the day the key is to never give up and CREATE, CREATE AND CREATE. Thanks for the motivation.
Yes... mine too. The trick is in finding the right brush and practice practice practice .... I am going to try to do one of these a day to get better.
Beautiful works!
Thank you very much. It is a practice sketch. I am just learning how to do these digital finger paintings.
i think you have tried to paint in Van Gogh style...it really looks great...i made a drawing...but it is really hard to make with farklı fingers...
Great painting
Have a nice day..
This is true .... Van Gogh is a huge influence on my work. As well as the Group of 7 in Canada, and especially Tom Thomson.
This is beautiful!
Thanks... it’s really just a rough draft practice sketch. I hope to get better.
I draw as an hobby. I do when I am less busy. You can check my post for some digital drawing using autodesk sketchbook mobile.
Holy moly! This shit is dope!
Thanks man. Mucho appreciato
That is really cool! Good for you - learning to express yourself creatively in new ways. I'm a big fan of digital art, especially when there are hand-made qualities to it. I know there are infinite opportunities to learn and grow in this area, which makes it a great playground with a rewarding end result: a unique work of art.
Thank you very much. I will keep creating.
This is lovely -- really gave me the feeling of a sunset nap, the pleasant sensation and impressions of that level of relaxation on a lovely evening ... very pretty!
Thank you very much. I will do more of these.... they are also relaxing to make.
Congrats on the place in the engagement league and i promised a 100%upvote , i will send the 1 hive later today
Have a great pentecost weekend
Wow. Thank you very much. Not sure what the engagement league is though.
The league by @abh12345 you are on that list and I am the prize giver for number 50 so..... please take a look it’s fun every week
Thanks took a look.... oh yeah. I used to be near the top on that list.
This is more like the 18s style of painting. Really pretty cool color combinations. I can see two people in a canoe.
More of this please.👍🤒
This looks amazing! The canoe really caught my attention, it looks great. I have to try this soon.
He really hated styluses, from what I've learned, so you're already making him proud XD. This is really lovely, thanks for sharing!
Ommmmmm....
xD
Cute work :D
Also really nice brush effect, don't think I've seen this one before :)
