My first post on this platform. - introductory post

Hello hivers, hope you guys are doing great. My name is Mariyam Riyaz. and I live in Karnataka, India. I am 19 year old and currently pursuing architecture in Nitte Institute of Architecture, you've probably heard of how hectic this course is, and yes I heard it too and I thought it was all a big talk until I experienced it, now I could say its hectic and definitely not big talk but it’s fun at the same.

So, talking about my interests, I have too many! One of them is paintings and art I am fond of paintings and arts from a very young age. I started making journals, mandalas, floral paintings and food paintings in my free time and I would credit my elder sister for this. You know like how small kids learn from their elders or friends that is anything and everything which may include good and bad stuffs, I didn’t go to a nursery and my elder sister who is 1 year 8 months older to me went to nursery, and when she used to go to school I would wait for her to come home so we could colour together or learn new things and she was amazing in colouring and I started to love arts because of her. I would say I was restless and had this huge urge to learn and be creative. I even have a goal, when it comes to painting, is paint on huge canvas and have an identity of my own. These are few of my paintings and I’d surely blog more of my paintings in here.

I’ve had this huge craze for stationaries as well. More like getting cute stuffs I like though I am not in need of it. Can relate?
Apart from painting, I even do photography. After I passed my 10th, and meeting new people, thanks to them they made me believe I could do photography and therefore I started it. I just really enjoy photography very much and I still have a long way to go.

Painting and photography are my the most favorites hobbies it’s something I enjoy while I’m having a me time. Loud music bursting in your ears while you doing what you love. More like a therapy session. Oh yes! I almost forget to mention, I am a foodie. I live in a Mangalore and its specialty is beaches and cafe’s. there are so many cafés here so maybe I could give food reviews too.

Aahh being an architecture student, for more than a year now, I could talk a lot about it, it starts from how we vibe with groups of people and enjoy working with our assignments to how draining it gets because of the pressurizing work load and messy time management. But in this 1 year I have learnt a lot. I could literally take therapy sessions often because of the way it gets too hard sometimes. I wouldn’t want to reveal everything in the first post of mine so I would love you guys to stay tuned to my blog.

I’m pretty much excited to know more from you all and definitely open to help you know what I know, if you are interested 😊.

Talking about how I got to know about hive, I have a friend @andestethic who has been here for a while, you should definitely check her blog, looking at her work, and taking part in contests, let it be architecture or photography, it got caught up into my interests so I’m here.

I wanted to experience something new apart from all the thing I tried. This is completely a new platform where I can socialize and make new friends. I really look forward to you guys
