Other Niche Communities Curation Report #27

OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 27th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

Mis ancestros / My ancestors [ESP/ENG]

I always remember my childhood with great happiness, because one of my pillars was present as my maternal grandmother, I remember that she used to comb my hair, remember that she used to dress me, I remember that she used to tell me her anecdotes, it is really a sense of peace, she was a powerful woman, with a strong character, determined and very humble.

The 1 Hour/Day Rule

Few years ago I grew tired of where I was in my life, I felt in a rut. It was after the birth of our first born, it should have been the happiest time ever, but something felt "off".

Making Lemon Meringue Tartlets

I’ve been waiting for things to finally settle down so that I could take them out for a spin, and over the weekend I had my chance. With all my favorite citrus in season right now, I really wanted to make a pie…but instead of a traditional lemon meringue pie with a pastry crust, I went a lighter route using a cookie crumb crust and a delightful, lemony yogurt filling. When I took my first bite of the finished product, I was surprised at how much it tasted like cheesecake even though there’s no cream cheese involved. Also, while I used a torch to brown the tops, you can easily throw yours in the oven for a few minutes if you don’t have one. I hope you’ll give these a try!

There Is Unpredictable Moment in Bali

Bali is the most famous tourist spot in Indonesia. It is not only famous among Indonesians but also among foreign tourists. Bali is famous for having green volcanic mountains, unique rice terraces, beaches, and beautiful coral reefs. The most famous thing about Bali is its beaches. There are Sanur Beach, Seminyak Beach, Nusa Dua Beach and many more. In Bali there are many religious tourist attractions such as Uluwatu Temple which stands on a cliff. No wonder Bali is one of the choices for foreign tourists for a vacation.

#MomLife // Week 22: Day #3 ||Your kid favorite food // La comida favorita de tus hijos || [EN/ESP]

For our children, their favorite food will always be sweets and sweets that is something they will never say no to and it will not bore them, my son is very difficult with the subject of food, he does not like to eat a lot, he spends all day inventing and making every meal that is to your liking, I make from nuggets to pancakes, fish, chicken with vegetables and more. Since I was a mother, I have become a star cook, a chef and everything to try to make my son want to eat something.

Shark with a matchbox / Tiburón con una caja de fósforos s

I take the gray paper and cut it to the size of the matchbox, then glue it to the box. Also, with the same paper, I cut triangles to make the fins and glue them. I let the glue dry.

Skin Cleansing Products I Have Used In The Last Months

Like everyone else, I take care to clean my skin. I have experienced all kinds of products (not very expensive) until now, but I could not find a product that gives the effect I want. I am using four products that you have seen in pictures recently. I know I have to use it for a long time to get its effects. I have used these products for two months and I think I have enough experience with them.

How to make the Imperfect Apple Pie

I have been wanting to make "Apple Pie" for awhile now, so decided to make it today. Well, that was my intention, just nothing, absolutely nothing went according to what I had planned. Everything just seemed to go in the opposite direction; it felt like the forces of the universe had a hand brake on everything I did. First of all, I couldn't find my favorite pie dish, then remembered my daughter Angela had borrowed it and never returned it.

The Importance of Parenting Sessions to First Time Parents

Since hubby and I are both first-time parents, we were invited for a parenting session which was held at National Childcare Center in Mahe. Our speaker was from International School, a parent and a teacher herself. We started the session with a question, "where did you learn to be a parent?" and most of us agreed that we learned through intuition, imitation, and by far an example from our parents as well.
