My Hive Journey - Looking Back at an Amazing Year on Hive

No matter how busy you are, you will take some time out for blogging for sure if you are a blogger. That's what happened to me!

I started my blogging career in 2017 by writing on Steemit. The messiest blogging platform I've ever seen was Steemit, where anyone could post as they wished; the voting system was very biased. Because of these problems, at some point, I stopped writing on Steemit.

When Hive debuted 1 year ago, I started writing again. Hive is moving forward with great success, eliminating all the irregularities that I saw in Steemit. This is exactly why there is no reluctance to hive yet, and I am enjoying my journey with Hive.

As Hive was a new platform, my target here was to guide newcomers. However, my main target is to increase the SEO ranking of Hive Blog and enlighten everyone on SEO importance.

I wrote many SEO-related articles here in Hive Blog, and I am enjoying it when someone follows my SEO tips and tricks. And It feels good to see that people are still sharing & reblogging my old articles to learn more about Hive and SEO. It shows me that I am doing something helpful for the newcomers.

In this journey, I participated in 2 contests by @theycallmedan and Asher, where I had to rank the keywords "Earn Hive" and "Earn Cryptocurrency" on Google's first page. And I ranked my articles on Google's first page with the keyword "Earn Hive."

Though it was hard to rank "Earn Cryptocurrency" on Google's first page, I was able to rank with the keyphrase "Earn Cryptocurrency by writing."

Maybe this is why Joshman found me worthy and asked me to do some SEO for his post. And thanks to him, I feel proud to be a small part of the revolution - First Hive Transaction for a physical product.

Overall my first-year journey with Hive is exceptional.

Did you ever ask yourself why did you start blogging on Hive Blog? If you ask me, I can tell you exactly 10 reasons -

To express my knowledge, to share my experience with others.
To expertise my writing skills in English. Hive is the first platform where I started writing English articles.
To learn new things from other bloggers.
To unleash my passion for blogging. I love to write; it's not always about money! I have a Bengali Website where I don't earn a single dime. Still, I write there.
To educate me. Do I know about everything? No. I analyze the topic before writing about it. I am learning about new things every day.
To gain more audience or followers so that I can reach more people.
To meet with new people around the world. I made some good friends on Hive. What about you?
To learn more about blockchain, to stay with blockchain. Blockchain technology is the future, and Hive is now one of the top blockchain-based social media. So why not blogging here?
To build a healthy habit. I am now spending my free time on writing or reading, which helps me with self-development.
Last but not least, to earn some bucks, of course! ;) Hive is a great platform to monetize your article from day 1!

Now let's talk about my vision on Hive for the upcoming years. My vision is simple -

Creating awareness among everyone about SEO. Because if everyone follows the SEO rules and writes their posts, Hive's SEO ranking will increase quickly. It doesn't take more than 10 minutes to SEO a post. With just 10 minutes, we can hive and benefit ourselves.
