Earth Capacity is only 10 Billion Population and we are at 7.9 Billions in 2021

Earth is highly populated, current population is nearly 8 Billions. Out of which Asia alone contributes 55 to 60% of the total population with two major countries like China and India.

If you look at the previous data, every decade 1 billion new members are adding to earth population, you probably think there are many people are dying too. But death rate doesn't really tally with the no of births each year.

Growing medical technology and advancements, people tend to live much longer than before.

In 1900 earth population was around 1.6 Billions, in 1950 population increased to 2.5 Billions, that's 56% increment in just 50 years.

Between 1950-2000, population of earth is reached to whopping 6.1 Billions, that's 144% increment in 50 years. In this period people lived much longer and there are so many improvements in medical field. There are people still living in 2021 who were born in 1950 and before. It's good a sign that humans evolved so much in science and medicine. As much as it's good but we are failed to control the population.

After 2000, population increased so much faster than before, In 2000-2010 alone 850 Million people added to earth population and total number reached to 6.92 billions.

And in 2010-2021 period earth population reached to 7.9 billions, which is nearly 1 billion population increment in just 10 years.

According to the previous data and current reports earth population will be reached nearly 10 billions by 2050.

Why earth Capacity is only 10 billions?

It's not how many people you can fit in earth, it's about how many people can live on earth sufficiently with food and natural resources. Earth has natural resources only for 10 Billion members maximum. If this number exceeds people with have food scarcity, lack of natural resources.

Can one child policy help population to control?

China implemented one child policy before and it seems like they had a bit of control over their rapidly growing population. But this caused several problems, most of the kids with no siblings felt alone and gender imbalance in the society. I think they lifted the ban recently, now they can have two children.

Can Raise of Infertility control the population?

Many people think that infertility technique is the solution to control the population, but do people actually follow this? Everyone wants to have kids to extend their family tree for the generations.

People want to have kids for their properties to hold and handle in the future. We can't really change people minds, most of the couple want to have kids.

What happens if population isn't controlled?

If population is not controlled, most of the countries will be full of people and people fight each other for resourses, countries go for war because they want to have no shortage of any supplies. People suffer with hunger. Less jobs for people because of less resources.

More urbanization will happen and trees will be cut down, people occupy small lakes and mountains for living, and it effects earth environmentally. Global warming will be increased and cities become more polluted. And we can even expect world war 3 in the future because of no control over the population.

Earth belongs to Animals too

We all know humans are not only the living creatures on earth, this earth belongs to Animals too. If we occupy moutains and destroy forests for urbanization, they don't have any place to live anywhere.

Infact most of the animal creatures are decreasing it's population, for example let's take lions population. There are only 20k lions left in the wild.

Lions live roughly 10-15 years. We probably will have no lions after after 200 years since lions population is rapidly decreasing.

Population countrol is the need of the hour

We should send this population control awareness into the people as fast as we can, like global warming campaigns. Humans are part of environment too, we should control it before we destroy earth with over population.

Mars Colonization can solve the problem?

Answer is unknown because we have not reached mars yet, except sending rovers like perseverance. It takes much longer to turn mars into earth like planet.

Elon Musk trying to colonize mars with 1 million people but it's only small number and it takes decades to make mars livable planet. We need water and breathable air to sustain which is not there on Mars yet but earth population is rapidly growing.

I hope we people realize, find new ways to control the population and save this awesome planet we have right now.

Thanks for reading, this is my original writing. I'll be back with another interesting post. Please drop the comments if you have any doubts and want to discuss about population control in the comments.

Very soon food scarcity and pure water scarcity will leads a third world war.

True that bro. We should have a control over it before it's too late.

This Malthusian notion that the world is overpopulated is such an old idea and it keeps being debunked over and over again. https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/why-malthus-is-still-wrong/; https://www.forbes.com/sites/larahoffmans/2011/10/31/7-billion-reasons-malthus-was-wrong/.

There really is no danger of overpopulation. If there was, then the only logical answer to this is to depopulate the planet. You say yourself that "we are failed to control the population". What does this lead to?

Eugenics. Abortion. Mass sterilizations.

Is that what you want?

There are families with 6 to 7 children in single family, what's the need of having so many people expect adding more people to the population. We need more resources and food to satisfy the crowd. You probably don't know there are many countries trapping countries in Africa for the resources because of the increased demand. You say population growth is no problem? That's very ignorant. More people and more deforestation, please read the entire article. I explained everything.
