School Holidays, New Camping Gear, Crypto Moving .... Hello 2021~!

Hi Everyone,

2021 has been a bit stressful with the COVID situation worsen in Sydney where it has ruined our plans for the school holidays. We had a trip planned to Bathurst this weekend but due to COVID, the host have cancelled the booking as we live close to the cluster and it has been raining throughout Christmas and New year with no sun in sight until end of next week so our camping trips are also cancelled. With 2020 behind us, I decided to use our crappy situation to make 2021 better and so far we are doing pretty well. With Bitcoin and some cryptos shooting up, we are not doing too bad. When will it be Hive's turn? Back to our holidays ...

I've started to ask the kids to do some work. Even though it is school holiday, we cannot have them sit in front of a device or TV for the whole month and should prepare for the school term ahead. I have put aside 30-60 minutes a day for them to do some sort of activities so it seems like they are taking a break as well as do something more productive. So far they are taking it ok.

Although the rain is stopping us to go camping, we have used his opportunity during the Boxing Day sale to get more camping gear ready for when we can go. Our Korean BBQ plate have arrived today so I headed over to the Korean butchers to get some meat and set up a Korean BBQ table upstairs in the yard. With little prep time, I think I've done pretty well with getting together 4 side dishes, lettuce wraps and was able to find some kimbap (Korean sushi). The pan was good at retaining heat and would be useful to take on our camping trips. It was definitely a good buy online over the sale with a few more gears coming in the coming few days.
