I hope you're all doing great. My online class had already started by this time of writing. So I definitely need to get things done. I think, it's been two weeks and a few days since I started Splinterlands. Before playing the game I definitely didn't know about the Hive, the keys, splintertalk, and many more. But look at where this get me through, to the Hive community! It's been my dream since when I was in highschool to find a platform where I can write about things that I'm interested into. Due to the lack of resources such as phone, internet, I have only introduced to Wordpress when I was in grade 11, just a few years ago. It's too technical and complex for me at that time so I just let it pass. But now, that I have known the Hive Community, I wanna take this opportunity to create amazing things, to relive my writing journey as a way of escaping things and gaining my confidence back.

My name is Trixie and I live in the Food Capital of the Philippines which is Pampanga. You might be wondering why my username is Trekdung well that's because my highschool friends called me that, I actually don't like it at first, because it has a funny story, but soon enough I eventually liked it. I'm currently a 2nd year college student of Bachelor of Science in Architecture. And before that I was a STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) student during Senior High so considerably I'm also interested about Science and Technology.

Before I proceed I wanna take this opportunity to thank @lovesniper and @fionasfavourites for giving me the courage to write an introduction post. They gave me the push that I need when I was in time of doubt. No words can equate this gratitude. Cheers for more post ahead.

My Interests

What I like about photography?

It captures things at their beautiful moments and this moment could actually last for a lifetime. Though I'm not good or fond of taking pictures of people, well except when it's funny, I like taking pictures of candid shots, plants, and flowers. The only time that I really liked taking pictures of people is when I made a photographic essay.

Books

I'm in love with books. Since when I was a child reading became my safe haven. I have read all the academic books that I've had when I was a kid upto high school. But just lately that I have realized that I'm really not a reader except if I read a story. Stories can hook up all my intention in an instant. When I read a book I feel like I'm travelling into different places and time and it's a nice feeling. Sadly, I never had a book for myself except my El Filibusterismo and Dictionary that my aunt firstly owned. I read mostly on e-books and Wattpad during high school. I stopped reading now since I don't want to be addicted on them anymore😁.

Arts

Making portraits isn't my thing before. I feel like graphite or charcoal drawing is not for me. But then realistic portraits came up, colored pencil portraits and many more. My family made me do portraits that's why I did one, two I mean, but no it's more than that. The medium that made me really be interested is watercolor and yet I feel so awful doing one. Fortunately, I've done atleast good enough watercolor portrait which I have used as my avatar.

In the field of arts there are many things I would like to explore and my course, Architecture, would help me dive into it. I'm not sure if I really fit on architecture. In the coming days, weeks and months I'll do my very best together with the Hive.

Hopefully, I'll be planning to create post about arts, literature, traditional art tips( I really hope so), and a lot more. I actually want to participate some of my photographs that I've capture in the Botanical Garden of Baguio City in the stock images but I'm quite not sure if other hivers would want to use flowers as their subject on their poems or stories, and if my images are actually good enough for it to be on stock images.

After this introduction post I couldn't be able to write long post, maybe it will be mostly about arts, 'Time' will be my number one problem now that my classes have started. But I hope you guys stay tune and hopefully I can gain a lot of friends.
