Frank's kidnapping - LMAC 74

Hello Hivians,

Don't you think too that the little crab in @shaka's template photo somehow looked like a kind of adventurer? The heroic look, the cool and comfortable posture ...?
But maybe it was just my imagination that confused me a little. At least I knew roughly what kind of adventures this little guy must have had.

So, as always, a little story first ...

Once upon a time there was a little crab. More specifically, he was a lobster named Frank.
Frank was always bored and so day in and day out he looked for one or the other adventure. Quite often he put himself and others in danger.

One morning, when the seagulls were flying out to sea to catch fishes, he carefully swam under a water lily and waited for a seagull to sit on it to rest. As soon as a gull sat on it, he squeezed the bird's neck and looked deep into her eyes.

"Listen! This is a kidnapping. If you don't make trouble, you can get out of this situation very well.", Frank said in a deep and confidently sounding voice.

The seagull replied ... "Arrgl ... What do you want?"

"I just want to fly. I've always wanted to see what everything looks like from up there. So take off! QUICKLY!!!"

So the gull clutched Frank between her feet and took off.

Frank again and again had extra requests. He forced the seagull to fly everywhere he wanted and he even let the seagull fly a dangerous loop. He thereby continuously held the gull's neck with his scissorhands.
After several hours of flight, the gull ran out of power.

"Please, let's take a break. Haven't you had enough?"

Frank refused the request. "I am the boss and so I decide when we're done or when we need a break."
To emphasize his statement, he squeezed her a little harder with his scissorhands.

In the meantime, after a few minutes, Frank had completely forgotten that he was still squeezing her hard.
Suddenly they were flying faster and faster towards the ground. The ground was getting closer and closer.
"Hey gull!!! What are you doing? Uh... Why do you have such an empty gaze? Nooooooooooooo......"

Unfortunately, we do not know how it ended. Except for one thing ... Frank never spoke again.

My collage

This is my contribution to the LMAC contest this week.

LMAC is a great community for artists of all skill levels. The name of the community is an abbreviation and stands for "Let's make a collage". Just take a look. Even if you think you are not an artist, LMAC will probably prove you wrong.

Current round: LMAC Contest Round 74.

Materials

My collage contains parts of multiple images. I took a few of them from Pixabay. The images there are free to use.
I also painted the eyes of the two protagonists and the movement effects by hand. The seagull, the background and the lobster also had to be re-exposed by hand.

The story could have another end also..

Poor Frank

Would be an interesting twist in the story. But at least the end is open. So who knows... :-D

NAja, war ja nur ein Scherzchen..

You are so funny. Poor Frank could have lived a long and happy life if ambition and pride had not gotten the best of him. In the tradition of the Greek dramatists, Frank met his end.

I love the design. I love the way you placed the claw on the seagull's neck. Neatly managed. Most of all, I love that you didn't make dinner of this lobster. Where's the fun in that:))

Again, your story entrances, hand-in-hand with the collage.

Good luck in the poll today.

Thank you very much! I am very happy that you love so much in my collage :-)
A big thank you for the tip too!

I totally agree. Once cooked, they no longer experience any adventure.
Ugh, I couldn't eat lobsters anyway. If I had to eat an animal that has an exoskeleton, I would feel like eating an alien.
This is guaranteed to be absolutely no fun!

Hhahahah that’s what you get for taking an lobster into air! Well done on the killing paw around the neck
Good luck on this weeks dpoll

Please believe me, it hast cost me some overcoming to put the scissors around the poor bird's neck. :-D
Thanks! Good luck to you too! :-)

Such an interesting story, beautiful collage and goodluck too

Thank you. I wish you good luck too! :-)

Hahaha... That's a very funny situation, @quantumg.
At first glance I thought "That seagull will have a nice dinner"; at second glance I thought "Like hell it won't!"

It's a perfect scene to start a movie.

I love also that you achieve it with very few elements.

A big hug for you.

xD The seagull must have thought similar.
But there is still a chance... ^__^

Thank you and a big hug for you too.

Great your collage and entertaining story ha ha And the intrigue what happened with those two, they crashed to the ground?

Thank you very much!

You know, that is of course quite possible. But this is why I prefer the open end. :-D

Hi, I loved the story, and especially the imagination.

It is so important for an artist to be imaginative, to have an open mind to be able to develop imaginary worlds.

The collage is impressive.

To see how a dead Lobster is coming to life in beautiful collages from the community is amazing.

Ugh, the crab is frozen 😎 Wish you luck in the contest 😎

Damn! This is epic entry to the contest mate. The story just spices up the whole art. Fully creative, I liked it.

Wow, "epic"... O__O I couldn't have dared to hope so. With great praise, I always blush. Thank you very much. :-)

Well, the transition is very well done, also, that little motion blur beyond the bird is epic as well. I like that epic backrounds, it just fits my taste.

Great story and art work getting the lobster into the air.

Thank you! :-)
