Make no mistake, I have absolutely little, mostly unnoticeable knowledge about cryptocurrency or blockchain project, evolution and how the many technologies and technicalities works but truth is I'm leveraging the amount of knowledge I have to make rational decision and trust me it's very difficult to make rational decisions seeing the many blockchain and crypto projects flying around. One thing I've realised is that people are driven by the prospect of quick money and this is the sentimental aspect that makes people caught up in FOMO or FUD.
In crypto however there's really no 100% mistake or 100% right calls, people leverage on their knowledge or hopes or their research to actually buy into what they believe in and irrespective of whether it works or not for them. The ability to make credulous decisions is often taken away because sometimes what stands between you and becoming a crypto millionaire or pauper is that caution that you have or don't have. I see a lot of projects shilled on twitter and I feel the internet is getting better at monetisation as well as getting more dangerous as well and the fact that I might chose one project over the other is not because I'm right in my assessment.
It is because at the end of the day what endears more or appeals to one is what they'll buy into and it could easily end up anywhere. While bitcoin is crypto's granddaddy, many people are rather invested heavily in other places that appeals to them and this isn't anything to be particularly fearful or weary of. In the past I've been asked why I choose to be heavily powered up on steem before and on hive currently and I always say I love how I impact people's contents on the web (hive) and well I love the way it moves away from 0.00$ to having a little value.
Everything isn't all about making money, securing the bags and leeching or milking. I believe if every human being has or develops a cyclical mindset then we would understand that Influencing or making impact is what really brings revolution or development. Now without rather deviating I would continue to say that we need to make sentimental choices only for end game logical reasons else, we might be carried away by the prospect of making money to the extent that we loose sight of things that are really valuable. And that's why I make decisions on stability and at least a promise of certainty in the bearest minimum and that's why I'm invested in hive.
Irrespective of anything, we invest to make returns and sometimes that's the main focal point. I'll always say, no project is flawless. Ethereum 2.0 transition might be the biggest thing in the crypto sphere soon but then the impeccability it will bring will sure open huge doors to investors but then there's still no guarantee of flawlessness. My point is always don't see money as to driving force to buy into any crypto project. The market can be manipulated to make you think that a project promises millions but then the future is important as much as the present.

Yeah the future is important as the present and that's why we must understand that the two of them maligns whatsoever. The present of course is really crucial and we must take care of it.
Creating content and being able to make money from it is great, but we need to learn not to be seduced by the emptiness of "slot machine" posts (I mean, those empty posts with nothing interesting to add value to readers... just an attempt to make more "easy money").
