Success is something desired by a lot of people but not everyone is able to pay the price for success. We see someone who has achieved a certain level of financial growth or business growth and we just wish that we can be like him instantly, but the question remains - are we ready to pay the price required for attaining the success?

Habits of Successful Entrepreneurs.

Successful people are those who have trained themselves to give away partial happiness and satisfaction in exchange for a permanent and more admirable future.

They have developed themselves to ignore present admirations and smaller rewards in exchange for a more fulfilling future.

They have paid the price of ignoring some social connections in exchange for sitting with world renowned leaders in the future.

A Quick Story to Buttress my Point.

A researcher carried out an experiment on some kids several years ago, he placed a mouth-watering snack on a table and he put young kids into the room with the snacks, the instruction he gave them was that anyone could eat his own portion of the snacks at the moment or wait for him to return after some minutes to give them a bigger portion of the snacks. Some of the children actually eat their snacks before the instructor came back but some waited until he got back.

The kids that waited shared that they got themselves busy with other things and they did not pay attention to the snacks, that is the way they were able to overcome the temptation of eating a smaller snack and they finally got a bigger one.

After some years when these kids grew up to become teenagers, the researcher still had an eye on each of them and he reported that the kids who had the patience to delay gratification back then, were handling life issues better even as teenagers, according to their parents thy acted in a much matured way than their age.

The Importance of Self-control.

Self-control is a habit that must be cultivated and mastered by an entrepreneur. The ability to refrain yourself from doing certain things at the time you think you should do them for a better future reward makes you a champion in your field.

Successful phone companies like apple and Samsung regularly produce different dimensions of Smart phones on a yearly basis, as an entrepreneur who wants to attain an important financial level, you know that even if your friends are purchasing every new phone product, you have better investments to use your money for that will make you use a better smart phone in future.

I hope this post was worth your time? Thanks a lot for coming around, I am @oluwatobiloba.

That self control attribute in entrepreneur is very important to have or develop.

Many entrepreneur have been far from been successful due to self control.

It takes a strong will to control ourselves and move forward.

That example is very good, and also makes us see that since we are small we already start to notice the differences, and we can see how certain skills will develop in us. The very necessary self-control in any aspect of our life, we must start with ourselves and our thoughts and then give rise to other needs.

Thanks for visiting my blog dear friend.
