DIFFICULT DECISION

INTRODUCTION

It got to my attention that user @omo-ope and @henry-9ja have been accused of spinning/rephrasing someone elses publications. It's important to note, that both of those users have been part of our project hope community and I shared my trust towards them. Trust which has been kind of ... abused.

DIFFICULT DECISION

line2.png

I spoke to a few guys from PH and have discussed this issue with them. I feel that it is my responsibility to ensure that situations like these cannot take place in our community. I'm not a police officer, who is going to monitor all of you closely. My job is to support your efforts and help you all grow bigger on this platform. Weather you're more active on steem, or new to hive - I'm here to support you. And I trust you all - until this trust is abused and forever lost.

For all those reasons, both those users had their access to our community telegram channel removed and all their future publications posted within the Project Hope community will be ignored by me. I will not downvote/flag any of it, but I will not support it either. I strongly believe it's a fair decision.

FINAL WORD

line2.png

I cannot afford to teach people ethics and how not to behave. I also cannot be playing the role of a police officer here either. I don't want to do that. And I hope this unfortunate event will not repeat itself again. Let's respect ourselfs and the work of others.

It's time for our paths to separate and I would expect everyones understanding. At the end of the day I'm the face of this project, and doing something which looks like a "fraud" affects my reputation. Learning from user with 1mln SP, that I'm supporting plagiarism is not the way I would like to start the day.

Some of you may disagree with my decision and may believe that everyone deserve a second chance, and maybe perhaps some people do. However, I'm not planning to punish those users - I'm simply not going to support them any more. I wish them all the best, our short "adventure" is now over.

Yours, @crypto.Piotr

Example of "spinning" from their posts:

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning algorithms such as Deep Learning have become integral parts of our daily lives: they enable digital speech assistants or translation services, improve medical diagnostics and are an indispensable part of future technologies such as autonomous driving. Based on an ever increasing amount of data and powerful novel computer architectures, learning algorithms appear to reach human capabilities, sometimes even excelling beyond. The issue: so far it often remains unknown to users, how exactly AI systems reach their conclusions. Therefore it may often remain unclear, whether the AI's decision making behavior is truly 'intelligent' or whether the procedures are just averagely successful.Artificial Intelligence (AI) and computer studying algorithms comparable to Deep studying have grow to be vital ingredients of our day-to-day lives: they enable digital speech assistants or translation offerings, reinforce clinical diagnostics and are an fundamental a part of future technologies such as autonomous using. You've made the right decision, my friend.

Many have not understood what this job is about, so they take those wrong skills. What happened is a serious case, and it's best to protect the community you've worked so hard for. You have my support.

I appreciate your comment and thanks for understanding and support to my decision

I totally agree with you about this Piotr. I think that our project shouldn't be just about producing the biggest amount of content and especially not content that has been taken from other sources. You took a perfect approach in this. It's not up to you to play the police and it's correct not to support such authors. I would also suggest to mute posts that don't fit the community guidlines. These posts will simply not be visible in the community but will continue to be on the blockchain.

Like that we could make sure that the quality of the content in the community stays on a certain level.

Best regards,
Achim

Hi @achim03

You took a perfect approach in this. It's not up to you to play the police and it's correct not to support such authors.

I appreciate your comment and thanks for understanding and support to my decision. I was hestitant on using mute, but I guess I will have to get use to doing it more often ...

Enjoy your weekend buddy

You made the best decision. I support you totally!

Thanks for your supportive comment

That’s is sad for our community. Learn and write your own don’t copy that

Thanks for your supportive comment

I am with you on this, you made the right decision.

It is hard and sad reality but a fair measure for all, even those involved may value their negative actions, that will also be part of their learning, likewise I wish them success, mistakes also teach.

Thanks for your supportive comment

Difficult decision indeed... But necessary for your project and the community I believe...

Sorry that you had to deal with this my friend! It seems people try to take the easy way out too often. Hopefully this is a lesson to at least one of them, hopefully both. Plagiarism is a serious offense!

Hello my dear @crypto.piotr.

Very difficult friend, however, it is necessary.

Very mature of you not wanting to harm them, great behavior.

Are they reported to @steemcleaners or sfs?

No @cwow2.

I'm not going to report anyone or make their lives harder. This is not my goal.

I simply want to let other users (mostly those posting within PH community) know that I will not support such a behaviours and that people who will "steal/use" other users intellectual property will not be welcome any more.

Yours, Piotr

Hello crypto.piotr sorry about this unfortunate situation and thank you for taking pragmatic steps to keep up quality in PH.

I have a question, does the PH community allow me to share my post here on hive on steem PH community as well?

Dear @mistakili

Thank you for your kind comment. Appreciate it.

I have a question, does the PH community allow me to share my post here on hive on steem PH community as well?

Okay cool no problem. I was just curious @crpto.piotr :D

sorry that you had to deal with it.

Greetings dear @crypto.piotr, the truth is I have never heard or read these users, I am practicing manual healing for a while now and have some tools that detect possible plagiarism, however, I support your decision, to retaliate with those who have these plagiarism practices is not the right answer, is the wisest thing you did simply do not receive more support and leave them a message of awareness, it is not easy to be a content creator, express your ideas and knowledge, many are here for the reward and I think everyone, but it is not only about making a profit but to convey your ideas, your knowledge and support everyone we can.

Those who do not find it easy to write, before committing plagiarism is better to ask the project, ask for help on writing and thus guide and support them, this a message for these two users too, to rectify and become from now on real content creators.

This is my opinion and according to your decision friend @crypto.piotr, in total support for @project.hope

As long as you are not self upvoting your posts and comments Im not bothered by it. But others are doing just that, and it tends to get bad attention. And eventually will be downvoted to 0.

I have not seen you do this, so its all good. Just letting you know where the line is drawn in the sand.

I'm really sorry about these situations. I support your decision and for me, it's also the best solution.
