Old but new blues and folk album that is a modern classic and no one has heard of.....be the first!

I have made lots of music in my life, maybe written around 2000 songs or more... recently a project I did years ago was signed to a sync licencing company it was a project I did called "Tablesale"

I had been working with Cate for years since we had been in a pop band called "Candy" championed by Bob Geldof and we had done quite a bit of electronic and house music together. However for this one we decided to go back to our roots and we recorded this album without a click, mainly just me on guitars, backing vocals and percusion and then some of the other Stick Up Boys on bass and synths. Then of course you have the ever compelling vocals of Cate with her amazing lyrics and melodies. We did quite a few shows and when we did quite a few shows with it the shows would be mixed in with interactive theatre. Some of the shows we did were as follows:

No Man is an Island- Camp Bestival Theatre in the woods for Gideon Reeling.
Dark Night-1 night of fully portable promenade distopian Militarism. Shunt Vaults for Heritage Arts co.
The Worst Kept Secret Speakeasy- Land Of Kings, Dalston- Festival hub space. A
tragic East End Blues Duo involved in a permanaent lock-in.
The Oracle at ‘Housewarming’ for Aldeburgh Music,
The Wood for the Trees- Camp Bestival Theatre in the woods.
Tablesale as one stop for The Shakespeare Sonnet Walk for The Globe Theatre
The Scientists’ experiment- Pre and post show entertainment in the bar at Southwark
Playhouse
Under the Dragon’s Wing at Bestival

Its funny that were were getting a lot of press and radio play as a Blues/Folk band but then all stopped to have kids. The album got burried for years. For me this is some of the best music I have ever made and now it is burried in a sync library (Lift music) and will probably make us some money as background music on tv shows I will never see like a few hundered other songs we have, however for me this is an album that deserves to be heard. I do not often say this about my music, maybe I should say it more. But if you like accousitic blues and folk music then this album is a modern classic and you will not regret listening to it... I gaurentee you will not only want to listen to it again but you will will share it with your friends as the secret little gem that it is. . . . .

So click here lay back and have a listen.
