The process of installing wallpaper motifs, beautify the room.

Hi friends of architecture and design. How are you guys? I hope it's always okay. Whether in this modern era to decorate the house or paint the walls, you are still using ordinary wall paint that is very out of date. in this day and age there are those that are simpler and easier to apply and even have many diverse motives, very interesting, not to be practiced. Okay, then let's just start the discussion, let's go

If you usually color the walls of the house, the living room or bedroom, you still use ordinary wall paint that must be mixed with water and smeared with cake slowly, of course it takes a lot of time. Not but this time I have a simpler way that doesn't take much time and produces a very good motive, namely by installing the wallpaper, the wallpaper itself is a large sticker that only remains to be attached to a flat surface for the price is not too expensive compared to if you buy paint which is very difficult and to buy your own wallpaper you can buy it at an online store or the nearest building shop around your house

when you make a purchase, the seller will offer several models and motifs for the interior or exterior, if for the inside of the house such as the living room or bedroom, he will provide a softer color so that it is comfortable if you are in the room or exposed to the lights for his own type. The motifs that arise are also flat or ordinary motifs, all depending on your needs and for wallpaper that is outside the room, usually has a dominant color that is brighter than for the one inside.
for the installation of the wallpaper itself is also very easy for the tools you need, just need to use
• Base for leveling part of the wallpaper so that it does not bubble

• Then you need a scissor cutter or your next sharp weapon

• You need a ladder depending on which part you install for the high section, maybe you also need a ladder that is quite high

• Requires 2 people if you have to install at the top.

when installing you have to use it slowly, you have to be careful it takes 2 people to hatch the existing pattern because if you install it tilted it will produce a motive that is not optimal so as much as possible you have to be careful when installing because this wallpaper is easy thanks and very sticky when it sticks so it is a little difficult to remove it back.

for one roll of wallpaper itself he is 30 cm in size with a length of 15 meters for a room whose width is 4 meters x 4 meters, it will probably take about 10 rolls. and if you meet growing corners and / or sometimes it is very difficult, you should be careful, because in my experience, if you are in a hurry during installation it will be because the material is very thin and sticky we have to make us more detailed when installing.

based on the photo above, this time I got a job to put up wallpaper in one of the shops here, I did it together with my colleague because the project is big, it doesn't have to be two. The combination of wood is quite interesting, depending on your taste, because there are many more motifs provided by online shops

Now after reading this how do you still want to use the difficult method or the simple way and the results are satisfying after reading you want to try but there are still some errors at each step you can ask me in private chat or you can immediately comment below Thank you for I hope this is useful for all of you. I can't get permission to resign until we meet again bye bye

Hello @anggayuzan, wallcovering instantly changes the look of a space in ways and patterns that paint finishes couldn't. However, there are also advantages to using paint in certain applications. There are many types of wallcovering (paper backed, fabric backs, solid vinyl etc. etc.) and their use depends on the type of projects and areas where they should be applied. Paper type wallcovering is usually used for residential projects only while commercial spaces require certain standards. It also depends on the budget and the overall "look and feel" you'd like to achieve. Thanks for sharing your wallcovering application here with us and welcome to Architecture+Design Community!

thank you for the advice, it is true that it all depends on the needs of each room, because the paper coating is usually for the room, sorry if I am lacking in explaining it.

Greetings @anggayuzan! Indeed, using wallpapers is one of the most efficient and quickest ways to decorate a space. Depending on the atmosphere of the room you want to achieve, you just need some practical knowledge about color therapy and interior design principles to hone your craft. A warm welcome to the Architecture+Design Community!
