Hello everyone, how do you do?
First, I would like to thank @annephilbrick so much for hosting this amazing contest. This is actually one of my favorite contests on Hive. And below is my entry for Reflection Hunters Contest ~ Round 39. In this post, I want to write about the chilling life of cows in the middle of the busy city where I live.
I was impressed because these 2 cows stood in the middle of the lake and chilled for hours. Until I left, they were still there.
Where is this place?
This is an empty land located behind the famous Marble Mountain tourist area of Da Nang city. Maybe that is why the city government retains this land to ensure the preservation of the natural beauty of this tourist area. If viewed from above, this land is located between major roads around. From the main road, I entered a small road that led me to this place. I was really surprised by the peacefulness of this place, a complete contrast to the busy pace of life outside. I didn't think there was a peaceful corner like this right in the heart of the city.
Chilling life of the cows
I also don't know where the water comes from, but here is a rather large natural lake with green meadows around. I think the water most likely came from the nearby Marble Mountain. Therefore, this place becomes a paradise of cows with a lake and wide green grassland. My purpose of coming here is to get some fresh air and relax a bit. Sitting on the embankment, watching the cows, I had a few thoughts. The cows look so relaxed. They really don't care about the busy life around people. One of them just focused on enjoying the plants, chewing slowly. While others lie on the grass to rest or bathe in the lake. A truly peaceful scene. I think these cows must have a really happy life.
A little reflection on us
Looking down at the water, I also see a human in it, that's me. While the cows spend their days enjoying this place, I come here to find peace and escape the bustle of city life. Suddenly, I wonder if we humans are happier than these cows? What do you think? These are not only reflections of the cow but also my own reflection, so that I can stop, find peace and think about my life purpose for a bit. I really thank the cows for that.
