Gabriel García Márquez, He was born in Aracataca (Magdalena), Colombia on March 6, 1927. He died on April 17, 2014, in Mexico City, Mexico.
Gabriel García Márquez, nació en Aracataca (Magdalena), Colombia el 6 de marzo de 1927. Falleció el 17 de abril de 2014, en la Ciudad de México, México.
Gabriel García Márquez was the main figure of the so-called Boom of Latin American literature. In the 1960s, he gave world projection to the last batch of storytellers from the continent. He received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1982 as a Novelist and one of the great teachers of world literature.
Gabriel García Márquez fue la principal figura del llamado Boom de la literatura latinoamericana. En la década de 1960, dio proyección mundial a la última hornada de narradores del continente. It was published in April 1955, two months after the fact. After the news was known, 8 members of a Colombian Navy crew had fallen into the water, of which seven died in a storm in the Caribbean Sea and only one of the crew members who were on the ship survived.
