Hello dear friends of Hive, I hope you are well and that you have had a very good day, I for my part have been able to finish a book that I was reading for 3 weeks, it is not very long but this kind of books you have to read them little by little to analyze each word so sometimes it becomes a little heavy reading, even so it is a very interesting book. I chose this book to read for quite some time but I had not started it, I was a little intrigued by the name because to be honest one of the stories that I like most in the Bible is the story of Ruth, a woman from an idolatrous town who leaves absolutely everything for her mother-in-law, leaves her family, friends, culture, her known life to continue by her mother-in-law Naomi’s side when her husband died.

What's the Difference of the Book and the Bible? I have never heard of the author, Arthur S. Maxwell, but his way of telling the stories is a-ok. 👌 The way he shares each one makes it very relatable and inspiring to read.
We all know reading the Bible is not always that fun especially when the words are too deep to understand. Sometimes when it is told more plainly like someone is telling you what happened, it becomes more enjoyable.

It's the sequel to Before December (ADD) so I can't say much that isn't a spoiler, here I'm not going to put a synopsis, however you should know that the book is about Jenna and Jack solving the pending problem of ADD and fighting a little with the ghosts of the past.

It is an anecdote that I have told a couple of times and I think it is necessary to tell them because they are part of your experiences with books, with authors, that nourish your writings and add up as edifying memories. I think that for the reader who has these things happen to him, they help him to value, to live, in a more gratifying way, his relationship with books, with reading; because it is an experience that, in the reader's jargon, would be as if we were to say that it only happens to the one who reads.

I noted in February/March that I was trying to write a little each week about the roundup. That didn’t really work for very long, so I missed April and am now going to combine it with May. I love doing these, so I’m going to keep thinking about how I might make this a more regular monthly update or perhaps even bi-weekly.

What is Hive Book Club?

Hive Book Club is a community made by book lovers, for book lovers. A place where the chaotic minds of writers may punch away words from their keyboards as they share their writing adventures. Where passionate book collectors may rummage through their stacks of books to share and review their latest additions. Outside of our regular curation process, we may create contests for our community to participate in, and earn even more from their posts. If you have a certain theme for a future contest you would like to see, let us know! Be sure to check with us frequently on our various social media platforms to avoid missing out!

How Do We Choose The Highlighted Posts?

For those of you curious as to how you may have been chosen or would like to be chosen in the future in one of these compilations: we scan through the community and read the many posts that the community members write. We then select four or five posts that we believe meet certain criteria and are worthy of sharing with the rest of the community. We aim to keep these selections diverse in style, from writing skills or subject matter.

Hence, throughout the week, the moderators will check the community and manually handpick the posts. Some factors include the post subject, post quality, engagement, personal voice, and general effort. If we choose you, or you happen to stumble across these highlights, please do check out the other posts we feature, and contribute to their curation and engagement!
