Hace muchos años, luego de salir de la universidad, acompañe a una amiga a la parada del colectivo, la caballerosidad siempre primero, y me sorprendió mucho que en una plaza central de mi ciudad encontrarme con una pequeña feria de libros, varios estantes y mesas con libros usados, y unos cuantos libros nuevos, para los amantes de la lectura como es mi caso este tipo de eventos son todo un tesoro, nunca se sabe con que clase de libro podrías encontrarte.
Lamentablemente ese día no tenía mucho dinero disponible, típico de un estudiante universitario, pero logre comprar esta maravillosa obra, “MALINCHE” escrita por Jane Lewis Brant.
A continuación intentare rendirle el honor que merece ya que me regalo muchas horas de entretenimiento, y me encantaría poder compartir con ustedes lo mismo cuando empece a leerlo.

Many years ago, after leaving the university, I accompanied a friend to the bus stop, chivalry always first, and I was very surprised that in a central square of my city I found a small book fair, several shelves and tables with used books, and a few new books, for lovers of reading as is my case this kind of events are a treasure, you never know what kind of book you could find.
Unfortunately that day I did not have much money available, typical of a college student, but I managed to buy this wonderful work, "MALINCHE" written by Jane Lewis Brant.
I will try to give it the honor it deserves since it gave me many hours of entertainment, and I would love to share with you the same when I started to read it.
Esta es una épica historia acerca de la llegada de parte de los españoles a México, de cómo fue la conquista y las batallas libradas y lideradas de parte de Hernán Cortez y sus soldados, como consiguió alianzas y como avanzo contra el pueblo azteca hasta su capital Tenochtitlan donde se encuentra personalmente con el que creo es el más grande de los emperadores de este lado del mar, Moctezuma.
This is an epic story about the arrival of the Spaniards to Mexico, how the conquest went and the battles fought and led by Hernan Cortez and his soldiers, how he made alliances and how he advanced against the Aztec people to their capital Tenochtitlan where he personally met with what I believe is the greatest emperor on this side of the sea, Moctezuma.
Esta narrada punto a punto según la perpectiva de cada personaje, pero siempre centrándose en la protagionista “Malinche” y su influencia tanto sobre Cortez como sobre otros de los personajes emblematicos en especial “Arturo Mondragón” quien esta perdidamente enamorado de ella.
It is narrated point by point according to each character's perspective, but always focusing on the protagonist "Malinche" and her influence on Cortez as well as on other emblematic characters, especially "Arturo Mondragón" who is madly in love with her.
La autora relata todo la historia de la protagonista “Malinche” quien es juzgada, atacada, acusada de traidora y que lleva en sus hombros todo el rencor y odio de parte de su propio pueblo al convertirse en compañera de viaje, concubina del líder español “Cortez”.
The author tells the story of the protagonist "Malinche" who is judged, attacked, accused of being a traitor and who carries on her shoulders all the resentment and hatred of her own people when she becomes the traveling companion, concubine of the Spanish leader "Cortez".

Las tristes historias que forjan la sangre de nuestro continente son las historias de Malinches, inclusive aún tiemblo cuando recuerdo a los indios Kilme... Un gran abrazo, tremendo post amigo :)
Gracias, y si, hay relatos y hechos muy tristes, pero son parte de nuestra historia y nos hace ser lo que somos hoy.
Sin dudas, vaya a saber que dirían mis tataraabuelos maternos sobre mi mamá casándose con mi padre... Una guajira y un europeo, vaya a saber que pensarían mis ancestros.
