As raised by @hlezama,

I am not okay with fat-shaming, there is also a distinction between fat and obese. In the US this anti-fat-shaming killed hundred of thousands of people. For people with Diabetes for example it is perfectly correlated as Population obese today and you add 7 years.

And it is not bad to be fat but I think it is not healthy to be obese. We should not body-shame for SURE ! But we should help these people to get in a better shape for themselves and for their health and life expectancy.

I hope I was not too hard. Let's all love each others :D.

I think that a distinction must be made between being fat and being obese in a way that affects your health and interaction. The world has been designed according to certain standards, beauty being just one of them.
We know that the concept of beauty has changed over time. We look at paintings from 500 years ago and most naked women were voluptuous. Obesity is obviously a drastic change over the average human body and it will most likely cause health problems and limit the person’s mobility and regular interactions (most seats have been designed for average weight people, for instance).
Now, when it comes to today’s body shaming practices, it has gone to ridiculous extremes. People are being bullied for being too fat or too thin and anything in between. These days people should not rely or depend on social media acceptance or validation because most likely they won’t get 100% validation on anything they do.
In the particular case of Adele, I think she was beautiful the way she was before this change of look. She looks great now, period. Adele is probably the best case to illustrate the extremes we see in social media now.
Political correctness is probably as bad as the extreme no-bullshit commentators who feel they can insult just because they are being honest. In the name of political correctness many issues have not and probably will never be solved or at least addressed.
