THE BEST OF THE WEEK (# 45): Tofu Island, Crispy rice cakes and black beans, Strawberry and tree tomato jam with cookies

Today we publish other edition of the special curatorship, which will complement the MEATLESS MONDAY; that we have called: THE BEST OF THE WEEK. Our intention with this post is to recognize the best of the best of the posts that you, friends of Hivers, share weekly in our Plant Power (Vegan) community, selecting the top three recipes from the previous week; which on this occasion corresponds to the period from Wednesday, May 17; to Tuesday, May 23, 2023.

Each of the selected publications will be reviewed in this curatorship, and in turn, its author will be awarded 0.5 Hive, 50 $foodie token and 50 @ecency points, in order to give him/her a modest recognition for the excellence and quality of his/her work.

Hive Fine Dining #4 Tofu Island | by @anggreklestari

In a beautiful and profound post, in which she shares part of her personal story and how her parents, especially her late mother, inspired her and helped her forge her character; @anggreklestaria takes us on a gastronomic journey, which begins in a supermarket where she buys a special type of tofu, with which she prepares a wonderful dinner, with several ingredients that combine in perfect harmony. A delicious and elegant dish that deserves to be in The Best of the Week!

Crispy rice cakes and black beans | by @carolynstahl

Inspired by Mexican flavors, @carolynsthal made an elegant dish out of a simple, everyday combination like black beans and rice. Using the great creativity that characterizes her, she created an elegant, delicious dish, full of textures and flavors that elevate a meal that is usually very simple to a maximum level, and she shared this recipe in a wonderful post with beautiful photos; so she is also part of The Best of the Week!

After a long absence, @jessiencasa returns to the community with two wonderful recipes, ideal for a snack: A tree tomato and strawberry jam, and some delicate cookies, both sweet and delicious recipes. In a beautiful post, where she even had a visit from a very photogenic wasp, she shows us the step by step of these two great recipes, in a very simple and didactic way; so she is also part of The Best of the Week!
