Hello Hive Fam!

With this global pandemic, we are currently in … telemedicine has become a massive focus within the healthcare industry. I sat down with Charles Nader, the Founder of Doc.com to learn more about the mobile experience they are building that connects users to medical professionals at a low cost.

They have an entire team of doctors and nurses that work in shifts to man their 24/7 platform. It was really interesting to hear how they are using epidemiology to keep the costs affordable for patients as well.

They utilize both blockchain technology and cryptocurrency within the app to bring more efficiency to healthcare records. One thing that I thought was really interesting was how they really try to think about the user experience every step of the way. One of the worst parts about setting up care with a new doctor is all of the paperwork. They actually have people on their staff who fill out the majority of the paperwork for you - so you can just get straight to chatting with either a doctor or phycologist.

We also chat about trends in the healthcare industry and what role telemedicine may play moving forward.

I really hope you enjoy this interview! I actually had so many requests from you guys to look into doc.com and so I reached out to Charles to interview him and learn more! I always welcome and enjoy your feedback on what projects you think I should interview. 🙏🏼

I think having blockchain for medical records is going to be a tough sell, there will be lots of pushback, so many people are profiting from the obfuscating of data in these fields and they're not going to let it go to some startup. I wish them all the best, though, tough sector to break into, but it surly needs it

Well isn't it the same with accounting, finance, insurance, legal, or anything at all.

Lots of loopholes.

You only know how much corrupt something is when you work in that sector, right?

Ain't that the truth, Yes theirs corruption in all sectors but there's just something far sinister about what goes on in the medical field that is for me far worse, perhaps also the current "health" issues makes me lean that way too

Yepp, or maybe you know a little bit more about health sector than normal people...

That's what I am saying...

I am from India and I know a lot of people here who work in the Justice department, police, lawyers, readers of Judge etc....

Too much corruption in those things....

So, I kind of want the blockchain to be applied over their first.

Once blockchain is applied there, things might be better for everyone...

People doing corruption in the medical system can not save themselves using money.

How efficient ia it though?

Now this is interesting

how..important topic and thanks for this interview ... this will be the future
