I got pretty serious with this one, just becausee recently my home country has been having a lot of arguing and people are worried that it's falling apart. I insist that the difference between being divided and being unified is a small line, and we can make peace just as easily as we argue. We want the same things.

Venezuela is a country that I'm learning more and more about thanks to Hive. I am so glad we have this strong community from a place that has seen a lot of hard times these past few years, and I love the balanced view this post takes.

This weeks question:

What subcultures exist in your country? Are there any that are unique to your country?

"A subculture is a cultural group within a larger culture, often having beliefs or interests at variance with those of the larger culture."

Some subcultures are international, some are specific to a local place. Some are based on music or hobbies, some are based on religion and ethnicity. Which are unique to your country? Do you belong to any subculture? What is a common trait among people in those subcultures?

Feel free to make a list and describe each. I may have to do 2 entries for this, one for USA and one for Japan. Both have very different subcultures!

When we say “your country” it can be the country you were born in, the country you live in, or the country you feel home in, or any country you feel some connection to.
