I realized that i can't take landscape photos if i don't go out specifically to take landscape photos.
Or can you take nature / landscape photos when you are out with people that are not photographers?
Or maybe it is just me as i don't want to bother people with and get them waiting while trying to find the best angle, best focal length... Maybe i just seen to many great nature photos.

Mostly I don't like to bother people and usually go out alone. It's easier to focus, pun intended. Sometimes I'm with people who are comfortable hanging around and will even help out.

It's definitely harder to take photos in the company of non-photographers. I worry that I am boring the pants of people, and holding everyone up. :)
in past most of the time i would just say to them we will meet somewhere in few hours. my low mobility was not helping on this trip :)
I know that feeling. When the view is nice but not Photo worthy nice. We are oversaturated with amazing landscapes. Next time try with 35mm and find something in that frame. It can be a pivotal moment.
i just went for a 85mm several shots panorama with hope to get more resolution and get something from it. that is probably the "non photographers and small children around me" effect :D

I never spend a lot of time on photos either when I'm out with people. I do read a lot about ways to snap images though and try to incorporate those techniques into all my photos. Occasionally I surprise myself with a nice shot.

I have the weird "i think i am a annoying doing this" feeling :D but only when i am slowing everyone down with nature photos. I got everyone around me used to me taking photos of them that they just ignore me, and that is a great thing for cool candid phots, where people are not fake.
