THANKSGIVING SERVICE HELD ON 21/5/2022

Thanks be to God almighty and May the peace of our Lord Jesus abide with us all Amen.

Indeed it’s a great thing to be part of God’s gathering because it teaches us more about love and helping one another grow in faith, it’s another opportunity to listen to the doctrine of Christ through brother Daniel and also another opportunity to be counted among living and present before God. Love must lead in the midst of the children of God and if one comes to us without the true doctrine of God we shouldn’t welcome or accept such person so they won’t corrupt our minds.

2nd Corinthians 6:14;15 here I learn that we should be like the unbelievers because there’s nothing good we can learn from them rather the corrupt our mind because evil company corrupts good manners, here the Bible says, be ye not equally yoke together with unbelievers for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness, what communion has light with darkness, as a light we should shine so that darkness will disappear that’s how we should be when we appear let our light overcome darkness.

1st John 4:1 here the Bible says. Beloved believe not in every spirit but try the spirit whether they are of God because many prophets have gone out into the world, these prophets are out to destroy and also use the word of God to make money and teach the people falsely the doctrine, we must be careful who we listen to and not everyone comes with Bible is a man of God sent from God so we must be very careful. As a Christian and a child of when you hear the true doctrine we should be able to differentiate the real word from God and that of false prophets.

2nd John 1:5 here the Bible still talks about love, love is very important in the life of every child of God if we don’t have love there’s no way we can fulfill the doctrine of Christ, according to the teachings of brother Eli the primary doctrine of God is love and that is why he sent his son to die for our sin because he loved us. Here it says now I beseech thee lady not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee but that which heard from the beginning that ye love one another. If we love one another God is pleased with us but if we don’t love one another we have failed the first test which is love.

1st John 3:10 here the Bible says that in this the children of God manifest, and the children of devil whosoever doeth not good is not of God neither he that loveth not his brother. Because we are children of God we manifest in him, in him we live and walks and him shall do all things in righteousness but if we do not good we are the children of the devil so we must do the right thing to our fellow men and also love our brother because Bible said we must love our brother so let’s do so to be able to fulfill the commandments of God. Let’s put love first in everything we do, you can’t love God when you have not love your brother and e Bible says if you have a quarrel with your brother and coming to offer your offering to God he said you should your offering at the alter and go and make peace with your brother then come back to cats your offering so that it will be accept unto God.
