Tracking The Hustle

Above is a portion of an Excel file I created for tracking my ungraded card sales on E-bay. This data reflects sales over the past couple weeks on cards that I have had since I was a kid. Hence the low "Acquire Card" price of a nickel. I haven't to this point tracked the cost of the shipping supplies required. I do get some supplies free and a small amount of the shipping the customer pays goes to supplies. I will probably look into possibly adding a general "Supplies" column to spread across all sales.

At any rate it has been a good couple weeks for me selling on E-Bay. As mentioned these are ungraded cards. I have had some cards graded, which while possibly elevating the value of the card, also brings a whole new set of costs. Not to mention if you send it to an auction house to try and get absolute top dollar. More about that in another post. 😀
