Hello.
Recently I saw that the Schlumbergeramin, which has not bloomed for a long time, is buds.
This was good news for me because it hadn't bloomed for two years. I almost thought you were offended by us.

In my country, we call it the Christmas Cactus because it blooms when Christmas time approaches. I have three of them and two of them have started to bud. I did not know much about the color of my plant, which has not bloomed for two years.

I found him on the street and brought him home. I took care of them. I don't know what color it is as it hasn't bloomed since the day I brought it home.

It is not very clear in the form of buds. It was white in the first days, but now it's starting to turn a little pink.

Actually, here is the best part. Not knowing the color of its flowers will come as a surprise to me. I've been waiting impatiently for it to bloom for four days.

I don't know much about this plant, but my mom says it's a pseudo Schlumbergera. The real Hatiora Gaertneri plant claims to be the flower you see above.

I don't know how accurate it is, frankly, I'm not very interested in the genre. What interests me is the images. I'm trying to enlarge it because I like the way it looks.

I positioned this plant on our balcony, which we covered with glass this summer. Maybe that's why it bloomed. Some articles said that this plant likes airy environments. Our balcony is neither too hot nor too cold. A suitable area for my plant.

I bring my other plants here and follow their development. I saw this beautiful bud four days ago while checking my plants. Seeing it worked, I moved my other Christmas flower here as well. No buds on it yet, but I'm sure it will bloom.

By the way, propagating this plant is very simple. You can plant the piece you cut off from the nodes directly into the soil and allow it to root there. You see the part I planted for rooting at the bottom of my pot.

Every time I see buds, good things happen to me. They always remind me of hope. How do you think my plant looks? Also, do you agree with what my mom said? If you have suggestions for my plant, you can leave a comment. Thank you for everything in advance. Take care until we meet again.

love

Sort:

In my nation, they are known as Christmas Cactus, and they typically appear around the Christmas season.
I admire your generosity in bringing the flowers you found on the sidewalk home. This is a nice gesture.

Thank you for this wonderful post, you are amazing !

Yes, people sometimes throw away their plants, I can't stand it when I see it. Thank you you're so kind. :)

Lol, that's true

 last year

There are 2 similar-looking but different types of these cacti: one genus is Hatiora, which is often called Easter cactus and blooms in spring. The christmas cactus blooms in winter and it is schlumbergera. The flower shapes are different. Yours look healthy and happy and I think the reason cacti don't always bloom is that they need to feel the temperature changes of the seasons. In the house they often don't feel this difference

I'm glad to hear that. I thought I was doing something wrong when they weren't blooming. I'm learning from you, thank you very much. I was happy to know that my plant is healthy. I'm counting the days to see them in bloom 😀
