Greetings Fabulous Felines of Hivelandia and surrounding communities! I hope this fine day has been treating you well.

Woo-hoo, it's Caturday! Certainly, Saturdays are the "special day" for cats around here, but the Hoomans actually do a really good job of making us cats feel like all days are Caturdays!

Busy Day!

We had a lovely sunny morning, so I took full advantage of my sunny perch in the Mom-Hooman's office space!

The the Hoomans actually left for a while to go shopping in a nearby town. You see, the Daughter-Hooman is getting married in a couple of weeks, so lots of preparations have to be undertaken.

Even though she and her fiancé live in Seattle, there are still lots of things happening because... well... my Hoomans are "the parents of the bride."

It does mean that they have to leave us cats with a friend who will be coming over to stay as cat sitter for a couple of days... but that's OK, because we know him and his girlfriend quite well, because they have come here for holiday celebrations for several years.

I'm actually very fond of the Daughter-Hooman, who was instrumental helping find and rescue me from the local animal shelter!

In Other News...

Hoping to ramp up the Curator Cat blog a little bit as we move into the last couple of months of the year. Wintertime means more "indoor time" for the Hoomans, and hopefully there will be a little more time for the blog, too!

The thing is... I am really good in photographs, but I am still not any good at typing... the whole "opposable thumbs" thing! So I need the Dad-Hooman (usually!) to help me with the blog posts.

Smudge is doing well! It's hard to believe that we are already coming up on her first anniversary of living with us.

She has become a fully integrated member of the household, and we're pretty sure she is enjoying living out her "golden years" with us, here! We are very glad to know her!

HiveCats by @curatorcat is a central "gathering place" for cat content on Hive; promoting the use of the #hivecats tag for feline content!

Cat Snaps by @manorvillemike is a place to post pictures of your cats when you don't have a whole lot to say beyond just sharing your cute photos!

Caturday Community by @saboin is a community where we get to celebrate posts relating to Saturday — aka "Caturday" — our own special day!

Cat Photos by @andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS! It has a lot of subscribers but is not very active.

Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community; it's there, but not very active.

Last, but certainly not least, a special shoutout to the Hive Pets Community which has become quite active and typically has quite a bit of cat content!

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
