RE: My First Caturday on the Hive Blockchain! 🐈 2020-03-21

Yeah. Ionomy is pretty straightforward. I have already converted whatever liquid Steem I had into Hive and powered up a bunch of it. I've hit the power down button on all my Steem accounts, and I'll be trying to convert all of my Steem to Hive. That should make for decent upvotes.

Thanks for stopping by, and happy Caturday!

A few questions you may be able to answer for me. If you were to cash out any currency would lonomy transfer it to a paypal? Does living in Canada change anything with them?
What wallet did you choose on Hive? There are a few to choose from and I didn’t know if one was better for Canadians.

Ionomy doesn't do cash. It's only an exchange for cryptocurrencies. Essentially, you send your Steem, exchange it for Bitcoin, then exchange your Bitcoin for Hive. Or you can just exchange for Bitcoin and then cash that out somewhere else. I use Shakepay for buying Bitcoin or for cashing out Bitcoin. It works through Interac e-transfers. So you could send the bitcoins from Ionomy to your Shakepay Bitcoin address and then exchange them for CAD, and send to your bank account via e-transfer.

For Hive wallet transactions, I installed Hive Keychain and I also use PeakD (the Hive version of Steempeak) as my Hive blogging interface instead of hive.blog, and it has all the features working, including wallet transactions.

Thanks @saboin! I understand what you said about Ionomy. I have never cashed out anything but would like to try sometime and see if I can.
I’m using Peakd to post to Hive.
