Befriending The Visitor Cat Plus A Perfect Shot

..yes, even though in this photo it seems like she is threatening me to stay away.

If you have seen my previous post Replanting Aloe Vera Plants, you'll know that the visitor cat have kept us company while we replanted some aloe vera.

Hello! It's been awhile since I've written something for Caturday. I don't usually visit the backyard recently so I seldom see the cats. These photos were taken a few days before New Year and I think I've taken one of the most perfect photo of her.

My mother calls her "sexy", I don't know why. Haha. I wonder what her owners call her. She always visit our home and particularly spends her whole day at the backyard where she waits in front of my aunt's door waiting for food or my aunt's cat. I don't know which but probably both.

She was a bit distant to us, especially with me on the first few months she was visiting but over time, she no longer seemed afraid and would sometimes come close and rub her body on my legs. It's been some years since I've felt not afraid of cats rubbing their bodies on my legs because most of our cats before were not very friendly. My father didn't like cats and so whenever we had cats, he would always shoo them away and hit or kick them when they are obstructing his way. That's why our cats grew up scared and angry towards humans. :(

She felt comfortable around me and I also began to trust her as well that she won't scratch or bite me. And that is why I was able to take this photo and some more.

Let's go back to the first photo and zoom in.

I think I have just captured a perfect photo of our visitor while she was stretching after cleaning herself. Look at her ears and her cute expression. Her eyes seem to be squinting. And of course, her paws! If you look at her paws, the one behind looks fluffy and soft but if you look at the other that is closer to the camera, you'll surely get scared of her sharp nails she is showing off. It's like her saying, "See these nails, hooman? Move back, I tell you.". But that won't happen because we're friends know. (I guess)

Anyway, while I was trying to take a photo of the aloe vera plant, the cat began licking her legs. I think it was cute and funny.
