FuenteDos colores y una historia celebra cada 23 de septiembre su aniversario de cómo una de las instalaciones deportivas más importante de mi estado Monagas, este club de fútbol se llama el Monagas Sport Club, nombre del estado venezolano, que poco a poco se ha ganado el reconocimiento del continente por sus participantes en torneos internacionales como la Copa Libertadores y la Copa Sudamericana representando al país. Monagas ya no es un club para nada nuevo, ya tiene sus años en el fútbol venezolano peleando por comenzar a escribir su historia en el balompié, cosa que consiguió coronarse campeón absoluto en el año 2017 que le sirvió a colarse entre los equipos del FUTVE con estrella en su escudo.

FuenteCómo todo club ha pasado por altibajos en su historia, el Monagas SC le tocó bajar a la segunda división del fútbol venezolano, esto en el año 2013, tuvieron que pasar dos años (2015) para que el conjunto azulgrana logrará el ascenso a la máxima categoría del fútbol nacional. Antes de pasar por esa tormenta el Monagas era un equipo conocido por ser de mitad de tabla para abajo, un club que en ocasiones tenía que pelear el mantener la categoría, en otras ocasiones lo veíamos clasificarse a la Copa Sudamericana, entraba entre eso, un año luchaba por el ascenso y otro por un cupo internacional como ese de sudamericana que consiguió en 2011.
As every club has gone through ups and downs in its history, Monagas SC was relegated to the second division of Venezuelan soccer, this in 2013, it took two years (2015) for the azulgrana team to achieve promotion to the highest category of national soccer. Before going through that storm, Monagas was a team known for being a mid-table team, a club that sometimes had to fight to maintain the category, at other times we saw it qualify for the Copa Sudamericana, it entered between that, one year it fought for promotion and another for an international quota like that of the South American Cup that it got in 2011.

El monaguense va a los estadios posibles siguiente a su equipo, con un amor genuino, ya que no esperan nada a cambio, siguiendo a un equipo que sabe lo que es bajar a segunda división y ver los pocos aficionados fieles que seguían alentando al Monagas SC, ya sea en el estadio Comanche Bottini o el estadio Monumental de Maturín.
The feeling of a monaguense cheering for his soul team is very different from describing the love for colors that bring an identity rooted in the city that saw us grow and dream. Muchas de las leyendas de este club han dejado su mensaje en redes sociales su mensaje de felicitaciones para el Monagas SC en dónde dejaron su huella, tales como Lucas Trejo, Renzo Zambrano, Ángel Hernández y muchos más jugadores que cada año nos tiene acostumbrado sus videos por el aniversario de la institución azulgrana. Óscar González y Miki Romero desde la concentración de Venezuela también dejaron su vídeo de felicitaciones. Son 35 años escribiendo la historia del Monagas SC con jugadores que representan a estos colores para dejar en los más alto el escudo azulgrana.

Si hablamos de nombres históricos con la camiseta del Monagas SC es imposible que no se me venga a la mente tres nombres, una del máximo goleador histórico, Edder Farías, el otro es el mejor juvenil la historia azulgrana que le dió el ascenso a primera división, es nada más que Yangel Herrera y el último es el ariete que le dió a Monagas la primera estrella de su historia y no es más que Anthony Blondell. Tres nombres de mucho peso con la camiseta del Monagas SC puesta, si hablamos de un jugador bonus está, César 'Maestrico' González, el jugador nacido y formado en Maturín.

Su primera presencia en el torneo más importante del continente americano, fue cuando consiguieron la primera estrella en el año 2017 y eso les permitió clasificarse directo a Fase de Grupo de Libertadores, para el año 2022 Monagas cosechó su segundo participación, está vez fue para la Pre-Libertadores Fase 1, un total de 8 partidos jugados en toda la historia de la competición más prestigiosa del continente. Este año en el FUTVE, el elenco dirigido por Jhonny Ferreira se clasificó entre los primero 4 mejores del fútbol venezolano, eso le permite al menos jugador para el año 2023 dos partidos más en Libertadores para su historia, en caso de que clasifiquen a la Final de la Liga FUTVE se clasificarían a la Fase de Grupos de Libertadores, esto dándole 6 partidos a disputar para el próximo año.

FuenteEl elenco azulgrana actualmente cuenta con una plantilla combinada entres talento nuevo y experiencia, siendo un grupo muy solventa capaces de darle vuelta a cualquier situación que se le presente en las instancias finales que se les aproxima, un equipo que difícilmente le consigamos una figura fija, cualquiera de los atacantes puede hacer el rol de protagonista, tanto Edanyilber Navas, Franklin González, Aquiles Ocanto y hasta el mismo Miki Romero, todos estos con buena cantidad de goles en la actual campaña. Sin olvidar de mencionar el talento a futuro que tiene Monagas, que dará de mucho de qué hablar en los próximos años y es que con 16 años ha mostrado que es una joya en proceso, David Martínez tiene un futuro brillante, nos hace acordar a los tiempos de Yangel Herrera, que con esa edad ya se montaba todo el equipo al hombro para darle muchos alegrías al pueblo monaguense.

Increíble como la institución del Monagas Sport Club sigue creciendo.
Todavía recuerdo cuando el equipo estaba en segunda división.
Desde ese entonces, triunfos, clasificación a Libertadores, Sudamericana, otros.
No hemos dado a conocer y ya los equipos se le hace difícil poder ganarnos, porque nos reforzamos bien y contamos con un presidente serio.
