Año 3.999, Diciembre 31, casi al filo de comenzar un nuevo milenio, la humanidad entera celebra el año nuevo. Una de las consecuencias del derrumbe de las fronteras culturales impuestas por las hegemonías y saltadas por el indetenible avance de la evolución humana. Los calendarios formaban parte de aquellas fronteras y #Hive ayudó a desaparecer la práctica que hasta el siglo pasado era todavía común en el planeta.
Year 3.999, December 31, almost at the edge of a new millennium, the whole humanity celebrates the new year. One of the consequences of the collapse of the cultural frontiers imposed by the hegemonies and jumped by the unstoppable advance of the human evolution. Calendars were part of those frontiers and #Hive helped to disappear the practice that until the last century was still common on the planet.
Pero y ¿cómo fue posible que tuvieran que pasar casi dos milenios, para superar aquella práctica? ¿Las distancias no han sido acortadas por la teletransportación? Si tenemos casi 800 años viajando de esta manera ¿como fue posible que pasara tanto tiempo para unificar los calendarios humano? Costumbre, simple y llana costumbre sumada a obstinada estirpe cultural, según la cual, Oriente tenía razón sobre Occidente. Fue la última gran barrera traspasada.
But how was it possible that almost two millennia had to pass, to overcome that practice? Haven't the distances been shortened by teleportation? Que lo cultural fuera el último aspecto de la vida humana en convertirse en algo homogéneo, era previsible a la luz de una infranqueable -hasta ahora- identificación de raíces (así le llamaron los sociólogos) que impedía llegar a un acuerdo tácito en como debía llevarse el rumbo cultural sin perder la amplia gama de valores y lugares originarios.
