Kitties and puppies are among the foremost animals that can build compassion in humans. As a child, I used to take care a pooch as a hobby. It was not a recognized dog. Some stray dogs roamed the village and I brought a newborn from there to raise. Dogs are perhaps the most prominent creature in the animal kingdom that does not flinch to lay down its life for its owner. The nutty thing is that it used to follow me all day and attend to the house at night.
I observed a lot of foxes in the village in my childhood. Under the burden of growing population, rural colonies have grown so much that foxes are now seen as an endangered species in the locality. I have had a strong hatred for foxes since I was a child. One of the reasons for this is that my favourite dog relinquished its life in the attack of many foxes. His body was found the next morning in a bush near the house. That incident left a deep impression on my adolescent mind. Since then I did not keep any other kind of animal.
Anyway, I went to my elderly sister's dwelling that day and saw my niece's pet kitty. The young cat is relatively beautiful to look at. My niece is taking enormous care of the cat, feeding good food from their own share to the new guest. The cat is enjoying the hospitality very much. Maybe the cat didn't get much care where it used to be earlier.
My brother-in-law picked up the cat from the road almost half-dead. Maybe the cat got hurt when it was hit by a rickshaw or a car. The cat is now quite decent but the amusing thing is that even after recovering, the cat is still not trying to go to its real owner house.
Two things occured very strange here. First of all, cats are not easily injured; and secondly, no matter how far the cat has been left, they return to its owner's house. But this cat is not behaving like that. No one will say that the cat has been here for the last two days only. On the contrary, looking at the cat, it seems that it is a very old member this house.
Are the animals changing their behavior competing with humans? But in fact, it is not supposed to happen because there is no conflict of interest in the animal kingdom. We ruin each other so much for silly interests where the animals are only busy feeding themselves. Due to personal interests, it is seen that one brother is fighting with his own brother. Where a dog does not hesitate to lay down its life in danger of its owner, we as human beings are not showing the slightest humanity.
However, I don't know if the cat was looking at me and was giving postures in different poses considering a new guess, but I enjoyed a lot.
