I think Bougainvillea is one of the underrated flowers around the world. I never find a single person saying Bougainvillea is his/her favorite. Maybe because it doesn't have any smell or maybe it's not for table decor or gift. But we have to approve that one of the best for our garden, right?

A beautiful bush of Bougainvillea can bring extra to anyone's backyard!

Today my son wake up very early in the morning or maybe I would not call it a morning because the sun was still not up. So I was thinking about how to pass time and make him involve doing something. And then thought why not I go for a morning walk in the nearby lake park? Because in this very morning there will be only a few people and we don't have to worry about social distancing. So we went outside at around 6.30 am and we really enjoyed a lot!

The weather was perfect in the morning. Though the streets were not fully empty, shop keepers and street vendors were preparing to open their shops. We were walking on the footpath and enjoying the greenery of the park. I have shared many photos of this 'Gulshan Park' so today I'm not sharing any photos from the park but only Bougainvillea.

We got to see this vibrant yellow and magenta Bougainvillea while walking around the park. These are for sale. You can see how they decorate the thorny vines to fit on the flower pot. Claver idea!

We used to have a Magenta Bougainvillea and Pink Mussaenda on both sides of our house's entry gate when I was a child. Time passes and those are not with us anymore but I really miss the amazing view!

Bougainvillea and Mussaenda both have a tiny flower inside the petals. That looks very pretty to me.

I'm teaching my son Gratitude and Thankfulness. So whenever I saw something wonderful in nature I express excitement and joy to show him how we should feel good about it, why we should be thankful for our nature and thus life. He's just a toddler and can't get the whole message. But he sure acts the same as me to show his joy and happiness. I guess gradually one day he will understand how important it is to be happy with what we have, by the small things of life!
